Well She really didn't see the worker as they who produce the wealth in America. And she would be right.

I don't share her more harsh views of the common worker. But the left tries to portray the worker as the engine that drives America and they aren't. They are contractors who sign up to do a job until they are not needed or move on to bigger better things.

The left seems to think that workers have a right to a job. They do not. It is not the impetus of business to create jobs, it is to create profit. Without profit there are no jobs.

Rich people sign paychecks.

Poor people don't.

All tea party candidates that gained support from tea party voters were Republican. When the Patriot act came up for renewel, out of the 40 tea party candidates in the house, only 10 of them voted against renewing the Patriot act. Mind you though, the totaly amount of Republicans came up to 26 along with 122 Democrats. but the proportion of freshman tea partiers is well pathetic.

It's still 5 months though.... maybe the tea party caucus will prove to us that they are the change of the Republican party later on.... As of yet I've seen no change whatsoever, and no accountability from tea partiers themselves. But then again why would tea partiers hold their own accountable? The tea party movement had nothing to do with socialism or freedom or the constitution (see how many tea partiers jump up when Medicare actually gets put up to vote to be removed), it has to do about that man in the whitehouse. That man hit a nerve with rightwing voters and they want him out, that is all tea partiers are concerned about, that is all conservatives are really concerned about as far as I can see.

Guardian, I hear what you are saying about the Patriot Act. I truly do, because T Partiers do not wish to see another 9-11 type act against our country, and why is it that the ultra left-winger POTUS now renewed it? T Partiers may just not all get that the PATRIOT ACT was spawned during the Clinton era, but was not enacted till a Republican got in.This is where the Hegelian Dialectic comes in handy to understand what is neither Left nor Right, but a synthesis of the two.

Rand's heroes must continually fight against "parasites", "looters", and "moochers" who demand the benefits of the heroes' labor. Edward Younkins describes Atlas Shrugged as "an apocalyptic vision of the last stages of conflict between two classes of humanity- the looters and the non-looters. The looters are proponents of high taxation, big labor, government ownership, government spending, government planning, regulation, and redistribution."[31] "Looters" confiscate others' earnings by force ("at the point of a gun") and include government officials, whose demands are backed by the implicit threat of force. Some officials are merely executing government policy, such as those who confiscate one state's seed grain to feed the starving citizens of another; others are exploiting those policies, such as the railroad regulator who illegally sells the railroad's supplies for his own profit. Both use force to take property from the people who produced or earned it. "Moochers" demand others' earnings on behalf of the needy and those unable to earn themselves, however, they curse the producers who make that help possible and are jealous and resentful of the talented on whom they depend. They are ultimately as destructive as the looters – destroying the productive through guilt, and appealing to "moral right" while enabling the "lawful" looting performed by governments.

sounds like ayan hit the nail on the head in todays society for a fictional book

The problem it's Ayn Rand identified the actual workers as the "parasites" and identified capitalists, CEOS, etc as the heroes producing wealth, when in reality the situation it's completely the opposite.

ok you may not hate but the severe hatred for the right and the teaparties is nothing but political manipulation so the left maintains their control of this country and no its the same old tune just a new player that they want gone.

I don't hate the right any more than I hate the left. You keep assuming that I'm partisan when I'm not. No one in the current power structure wants the Tea Party gone - they invented the Tea Party. It's another distraction that further ensures that real change will never occur in this country.

politics are nothing but mass manipulation to get and maintain power you may see no differences but i do anyone who has been paying attention knows whats going on and the fact of the matter is the only "party" who hasnt screwed this country over are the teaparties.

Because the Tea Party is "new", even though its power base in D.C. consists of people who came straight out of the ranks of the Republican party.

And where those paychecks come from? From the wealth accumulation of capitalists, by slaving poor people and taking profit from their labor giving them just the leftovers to survive so they can keep on profiting from them.

Did you even watch the videos through? Sounds like all your doing is making a sophomoric stand on a shaky principle thinking you are being attacked. Please watch the videos and let us know what you think. I am sure that is all the OP is asking for. I shouldn't of been inflammatory for that I apologize. The proof is in the video pudding above.

Why watch the vids and waste MY time listening to leftist propoganda. I know what I believe. I know what I stand for.

I don't need talking points, spokesmen, "leaders" of any stripe, to tell me what to think.

Yes thank you for being ignorant. Im sorry but what?????

How is this okay? Posting in a thread just to make people mad. Come on.

Back On Topic. I have always disliked the tea party. They all act like hillbilly weirdos. No offence if you are a hillbilly.

more politicially correct words.

well until poor people start providing for others and start creating wealth in this country.

parasite might be considered a harsh word but it describes perfectly todays world.

they infect the whole body and kill the host organism.

much like the current state of the union.

heroes of society and just who employs people makes and provides everything in this country we use?

like i said its not the poor and down trodden and all that money comes from those people who give to the less fortunate threw overtaxation and by private charities.

hell its just a book

Companies come up with a product and it is sold.

Workers are HIRED(no one forces them into the job) to produce for a set wage that the worker agrees to as compensation for their particular skill set.

I'm not going to pay a McDonalds cashier 50 large a year to stand there and push buttons all day and repeat "you want fries with that?". I will, however, pay the computer programmer 50,000 a year to produce for me because his/her skill set produces more in value to my business.

No one is forced to do anything here.

Socialist propaganda. Gotta love it.

The Communist Party glorified the Proletariat (the common laborer), and that is why today we can see their activites in the public unions, but we don't always recognize it as such, till someone like Trumka teams up with Intl Socialists at public forums and starts going on about the glories of Socialism and global taxes. All this global this and global that is a form of Totalitarianism. Corporatism is really a perversion of Capitalism, not free enterrprise. This is why the left always seem to hate corporations, but the left thinks that the proletarian should rule corporations. The Left always seems to opt for the Collective, whereas the Right opts for Individualism. Obama's govt takeover of the health industry, the auto industry and the financial sector is really just govt takeover of private industry, it is a Socialising of the private sector. It is part of the world communist takeover. Karl Marx said that the State would whither away, but I have yet to see where this has happened in a real communist takeover. And as for the Federal Reserve, well the State is in bed with the Private Bankers. It is called a public-private partnership and is ironically a buzz term of the UN Agenda 21.

Agenda 21 is a crucial component of a global governance system in which nations are no longer sovereign and individual rights are not inalienable and granted by God but dictated by the United Nations. It calls for a complete transformation of society through wealth and land distribution, bureaucratic control over resources, the abolition of private property rights, and the implementation of a communitarian philosophy. It boldly proclaims that ICLEI is an international “agency” that has control over local governements. Agenda 21 grants third-party NGOs enormous power under the guise of “public-private partnerships;” in fact, the phrase “non-governmental organization[s]” appears 183 times in the 300-page manifesto. In the Agenda 21 document we read:

Let's see, if you give workers the control of productive sources, as let's say a factory, or even some land for farm activity, they can produce wealth by their labor. On the other hand, capitalists own that productive source and use the labor force of OTHERS to get its own profit. Productive sources only produce wealth if someone labors in them.
So capitalists use quasi-slave labor, getting all the wealth for them and by paying workers a minimal wage, compared to the wealth they generated by their labor.

Hey Beez! Bravo!

Still fighting the good fight I see! Well Done!

Isn't this a remarkable time? We find ourselves amidst people who are making history...if they only knew they were making it.

Hang tough! Remember the post through angelwrangler (she is gone now):

From Les Miserables to you from me (the Finale):

Do you hear the people sing?
Lost in the valley of the night
It is the music of a people who are climbing to the light
For the wretched of the earth
There is a flame that never dies
Even the darkest nights will end and the sun will rise

They will live again in freedom in the garden of the lord
They will walk behind the ploughshare
They will put away the sword
The chain will be broken and all men will have their reward!

Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
It is the future that they bring when tomorrow comes!
Tomorrow comes!

Stay the course Beez!

The problem it's those countries attempted to jump from feudalism to socialism without the intermediate step of capitalism that Marx says. That's the reason why Marx expected revolutions in industrialized countries rather than feudalist countries as Russia was, and the reason they became a monopoly state capitalism, rather than real socialists.

Ill play any proof of this funding?? Records of any kind you do realize there are hundreds of them all with there own financials. So i assume there all being funded by billionaires? Again do you have there records as well? I remember when they had in the news that tea parties were doing bake sales to send representatives to a meeting they held in Nashville. That hardly sounds like billionaires backing to me unless of course i guess maybe they liked cookies???

If you could please just throw those records up here for us to take a look at id be much appreciative. If not sounds to me like this is just trying to diminish a group of Americans for no other reason then they managed to make there voices heard. Welcome to politics id say some of the things tea parties push can be scary however welcome to America were every now and then people demand to be heard and when you dont there are consequences. People dont get it a majority of Americans are still quite conservative but yet every one acts surprised?
