UFO spotted in my town

This is from 2009, but I searched ATS and found nothing... I was curious to see if my small town
had any 'contact' and found this intriguing video:



Does anyone knows the type/energy used?

That looks like something burning up on re-entry to the atmosphere.
i am being niggled now about a big satellite or space station doing this a while back...let me see if I can find that and we can compare.

In regards to your question about what energy "they" use...well, if this is some et spaceship doing this, I am thinking the energy at work is the whole "abandon ship, we are going down" variety of energy. heh..

Update: Couldn't find any similar footage to compare it to...difficult to find satellites burning up footage for comparison.
Clearly something is falling and burning up, looks pretty big also, just finding similar footage is challenging

If it's a something burning up on reentry. It's doing it in slow motion.
Has the footage been slowed down?
I would assume any object falling through our atmosphere would be alot faster than this.
And it seems to close to be just skimming the atmosphere.
Interesting to say the least.

to me it looks like a contrail lit by the setting sun. but the way it moves when it disappears on the horizon line it kinda odd. it appears to be moving diagonally. perhaps that is just the rotation of the earth being made visible? who knows??

The clouds moving past give the illusion of diagonal motion.
I would agree that it is a contrail lit by the low-altitude sun.

Translating: [guy in red shirt] (5:27) Its a meteorite, with 4 points burning up, forming a U shape.

Well, the odd thing is the low speed there, totally defies the natural phenomenon.... could be an odd angle, but contrail seems vertical... but the 'scientist' didnt notice that....
