Al-Jazeera Web Site Under DOS Attack

Hackers attacked the Web site of Arab satellite television network Al-Jazeera on Tuesday, rendering it intermittently unavailable, the site's host said.
The newly launched English-language page, which went live Monday, was hardest hit in a bombardment of data packets known as a denial-of-service attack.

Its not for me. The report did say it was only the American servers that were being clogged.

ooooohhhh thats interesting, I never thought they would have diferent servers for different regions. I wonder how they work that out...

the main page loads fast but sub pages are not loading...

I've been trying it all day - it hasn't come up once.

interesting though - who would hack Al - Jazeera? Not the typical site a hacker would set their sites on.

Weren't they showing stuff the government asked our media groups not to show? US government hacking them - just a thought.
