I predict Sollog ....

Hey guys and gals I predict someone here can show me how Sollog did that thing with alt.nostradamus etc
Here's the link that Satans keeps posting (and little else of note).
Maybe its real I guess but I would prefer to believe amongst this crowd of smart b@stards someone knows how its done and could perhaps duplicate a similar feat as proof.
If you do an advanced google newgroup search specifying the few days around sep11 1998 it definitely comes up. It doesn't seem to be a google bomb like the WMD one a while back.
I appreciate satans may be Sollog and Sollog may be as mad as a cut snake and his site looks like cr@p and he seems to have the old TV evangelist type hat on "send me money fast" etc etc BUT I guess I'm open minded enough to realise that madness does not preclude talent.

Why does everyone have a hard on for this Sollog guy all of a sudden? I hope it's all just a phase, I'm tired of hearing about him.

Find a board, flood it with posts from 'Followers' and try to drum up business.

Well, the prediction seems to be for 1998.

Now, I can predict a great disaster in any national capital and give a date and have a pretty decent chance of being right for any calendar date I like -- as long as I don't give the year.

I think it's just hyped coincidence.

Well, no.

That post is a copy of one he made about 3 years earlier about the "sollog" prediction. The Sollog prediction had no year on it. Just the date. Now, with a year on it, you've got a real prediction. But if I say "something awful is going to happen in Washington on Wednesday" then the odds that I will be right someday are pretty high.

Sollog just throws out dates and collects/remembers the ones that were hits.

The one calling him on it knew that as well.
