when does the countdown start? its 12:18 here, anyone got an ETA?

Your Eastern Standard, so am I But I would say if its the New Madrid... then the "countdown" will begin at 1:00am for EST cos right now in the town of New Madrid, MO its currently 11:33pm (4-21-11) if its California... then we got longer to wait....
cos its only 9:33pm there, (4-21-11) so officially...3am EST is when the "Countdown" begins? Cos both areas are then in the 4-22-11 time frame

Something tells me this will be the busiest thread tomorow. Frankly i dont think anything will happen.

I hope if you truly in your heart believe this will happen, you have been telling anyone and everyone about this, not just a few websites right? Whether or not people think you are crazy for saying something, they will at least have the thought in their head and maybe do some sort of preparing, just...you know, in case.

Either way, I hope you're wrong, I really really hope you are wrong, because I live right near the big faults, and I have family near other faults/tsunami danger areas/volcanoes.

Its pretty busy right now...

I don't usually bother with predictions...
But there is something about this one, that just... keeps my attention

and I think the OP is legit in their thinking... I got good vibes from them... from what its worth...

For the last several hours, i've battled within myself, "If I should believe it" or "If I shouldnt"
regardless of my personal opinions...right or wrong... I am supporting the OP, cos its a brave move to broadcast a prediction like this on the net... cos it could be a huge stab at future credibility...

And if nothing happens, i will feel the same about the OP, I will not condemn them!!!

But I actually think i give this prediction some merit...

at the very least, be prepared for "something"

I live in Canada. I and everyone I personally know are probably out of reach of what may happen. Does that make a difference to you knowing that? I promise you I am not posting these things to play with people's minds. I post the evidence and information and it's up to the reader to decide if the information is enough to believe and prepare. I put my credibility at stake at ATS and believe me the last thing right now I want to do is destroy my credibility.

In my previous thread I promised to give away $500 dollars if my prediction fails. I will follow through. I doubt any one in the history of ATS has shown willingness to pay a price in real money for their wrong predictions. The money will only apply to my previous thread though, because this thread has attracted too much attention to be meaningful to the person receiving the money if I have to divide it amongst 50 people.

It was more of a crying with my hand spread across my face trying to conceal the sobs. I haven't done that since I was about 15.
