I can provide plenty of references on the ancient greek manuscripts, where all the rest of the bibles then sprang from through copying, has been tested and indeed 616 was noted..a scribes mistake in the 3rd century to copy over the wrong number which in turn corrupted any and all numbers

Will it change anything? no..of course not. the bible is all myth so it doesn't matter what the true number...666 works just as well to be the protagonist in horror movies and other mythos we enjoy playing with.

just was pointing out if you wanted to know the -actual- biblical number of the beast, its 616...not 666...

however ya, if you want the cool pop culture demon number its 666, or 13, or 69 if your a prude, etc...

It took alot of guts to do what you did in posting your prediction and laying it out the way you did. You never wavered and stood behind your math and beliefs. That is nothing compared to the guts you showed by being here all day and taking all the flack, and then admitting you were wrong. When I first saw your original post on the prediction I was one of the first ones to shoot it down and was probably rude as i typed.For that I apologize, it just so happened your prediction caught me at a time when i was still hot about 9nania. However, since you did what virtually no one does when there predictions dont come true, you admitted you were wrong, and that prooves you are a better person than the others that just try and spin it and come up with a new date for there prediction. I will now have more respect for the threads you post and I will try real hard not to shoot them down. Good luck in the future posts.

It takes a big person to come here and post an apology as the OP has done. Who knows, maybe his prediction will still come to pass at a time in the very near future. I think everyone is feeling that something big is getting ready to happen. More and more, I hear people talking and saying that something just isn't right. I too share those feelings. I do not know what will happen or when, but it is good to be prepared. It sounds like the OP got some people to think and prepare anyways. Any push to get people to not be caught off-guard is a good thing!

The "last warning sign" I posted on ATS has come true today. The odds of me getting that prediction correct were significant. The "last sign" pertains to the big prediction of a mega-huge earthquake in the United States tomorrow on Good Friday.

To be precise the Dow closed at 12505.99 and the day's high was 12506.06 which is a negligible difference of less than 1/10th of a point.

The odds of correctly predicting the exact minute the stock market reaches it's 777+ day high From the Point I gave the prediction on April 9th: are 1 in 3510 (the stock market has been opened for 3510 minutes since April 9th.) High enough odds that people should take the warning very seriously even if it could have been caused by stock market manipulation done by the U.S. Federal Reserve.

The odds of correctly predicting the exact minute of the high from Feb 18th are much higher than 1 in 3510.

The S&P500 index did not make a new high though, so you may cut the odds in half. But I don't think that matters that the S&P500 didn't make a new high. The Stock market dropped a record 777 in the DOW. and bounced off 666 in the S&P500.

HOWEVER, I cannot exclude the possibility that highly paid investment bankers at Goldman Sachs' have read my posts and decided it would be a funny joke to throw 60 million dollars at the stock market to manipulate the Dow to reach's it's high. So you people have to decide for yourself based on these odds what chance you want to take, knowing that such a possibility exists.

Seeing that this is the prediction forum, I don't see why people see it necessary to bash someone for making a prediction.

The solution is simple if you don't believe people can predict events- stay out of the forum.

I wouldn't mind if the stock market prediction came true. Looking at one trend line going back decades, the Dow stopped just short of it or possibly touched it yesterday. I would not be surprised if the DOW pops above that line and closes back down before the day is over on Monday. During the summer I wouldn't be surprised to see $5 or even $6 a gallon gas. I don't like it but I won't be surprised by it. We're starting a double dip recession or something similar to the Great Depression of the 1930's. Maybe Ben Bernanki could actually end the dollar destruction and reverse gas prices but I have zero confidence in that. I was wondering this morning why can't China have a big earthquake doom prediction? We have doomsday predictions here it seems every week. I see no need for anyone to apologize for starting a thread unless they posted a hoax or false information. Dreams, etc. I don't believe can be proven to be reliably predictive. Maybe in some alternate reality things are happening but which reality are you dreaming about? It is all speculation in my opinion just like predicting stock market tops and bottoms.

I too hope & pray we have more time. The Direct Warnings I have been receiving tell me that it Will Be A Monday at 8:30 for sure. Now I Believe that Monday may be April 25th, 2011....3 days after our Lord Died, not counting Friday. For All I've heard it Seems to be this Monday. I too been receiving Urgent Dire Warnings for some time now. I haven't been told if it will be AM or PM. Not yet anyhow

I do know one thing for certain, it will happen on a Monday 8:30 as I said. No Later than May 2011. The Quake I Know will be a 9.7 in CA or New Madrid. Flip that coin to the other side and charge someone $5 for each time they come in to say nothing but negative bashing a person or idea. That way we know they truly believe their negative response and have thought it through rather than just knee jerking form a limited world view or understanding. That would clear the garbage that we see every day in threads like this for people who are interested in discussing and exploring them.

I don't understand why some people are getting so worked up and angry here. This is a PREDICTION. Predictions don't always happen. These predictions are what makes ats interesting. If people are so adverse to this forum why read it? If you read other forums you'll see where people make predictions all the time that never come to pass. The only difference here is, the op had enough guts to start a big thead on his. Peace people, peace. We're all in this together. Treat one another with respect as if you were talking to their face instead of hiding behind the comfort of your screen.
