There are divisions within the country, not to mention the discontent from many that they are occupied. It's sad to hear, so many of them are innocent and don't deserve such things.

The article also so that there have been frequent bombing by the guerrilas on the Iraqi soldiers in the last year. I don't understand why the are bombing their own people. Why the chaos in this tiny little country continues is a mystery to me.

The United States is waging an unwinnable guerrilla war in Iraq. We have tried to legitimize our occupation by installing a puppet government with no real power. Members of the Iraqi police force are employees of this puppet government. The guerrilla fighters regard the police recruits as surrogates for and running dogs of the United States.

In the most deadly attack since the United States handed over power to Iraq, a confirmed total of 68 people so far have been killed. Reportedly, many of the men who died were standing in line to join the police in efforts to make Iraq safe again.
