Why should they pretend?

Like many other criminals they start out sort of petty and get away with it and just get more bold and brazen to satisfy the thrill.

Nobody is going to do anything about it.

The first time somebody was released from prison as wrongfully convicted the whole system should have been torn down and rebuilt. The first time a cop drew his weapon at or battered through the door of a wrong address the whole system should have been torn down and rebuilt.

But it wasnt. We just accepted that these "accidents" happen and keep on kicking in wrong addresses and locking up innocent people.

It would be funny if real lives werent being destroyed, real people werent being driven to despair and suicide, real people werent being killed but these things are all happening to us and we're paying for the pleasure to be random victims to a gang of thugs working for a corrupt system that seeks out convictions and revenge while ignoring the truth.

This is hell on earth for many many many people. And we're all okay with it.

Kafka's Trial isnt about some especially corrupt oligarchical system. Its about any system with this power. Where there are courts to judge you and police to arrest you there is corruption. Jury of your peers? That's the most Kafkaesque thing of all. The sick irony of having to put your life, liberty and property in the hands of 12 imbeciles who arent in your shoes is supposed to give you peace of mind that justice will be served? Sick.

If that happened to me I would have beat the deputy to death, maybe even taken his gun and pistol whipped him with it, American Police seem to think they can do anything to anyone and get away with it. America is becoming a police state and no one seems to be doing anything about it

I hate stories like this. It makes me full of anger. I detest the police at the best of times, this just ensures that hate stays a little while longer. What a horrble person this copper is. I hope he dies in the same way he made this dog die. It is what this PIG deserves.

For this reason I am so glad that police in the UK do not carry guns - they are bad enough without them.

I just went through loosing the light of my life - a little dog who was suffering convulsions.
I can't even imagine the HELL these people went not even being able to attend to their dog.

Personally I'd be spending the rest of my life in jail if this had happened to my Lucy cause there'd be a dead cops blood on my hands if I had to use my teeth to rip out his throat. My dog doesn't bite copper, but I DO!!!

I hope that family OWNS the police department after this.

I live in fear for my brindle Amstaff. He has been trained from birth to gentleness and is the Nanny of the household pets and children( now almost grown) but, he has raised kittens, groomed his "pet" dove who sits on him and is there every time I change the fish's water.For "protection he is only valuable for his size factor, he would likely look for us to save him if the cops came in loud and hot.
And when the neighbors had a big row the cop that came to the door put his and to weapon when he came and asked what we heard and saw my big friend. I quickly shoved his big and curious head back inside and stood in freezing rain at 3am because I did not trust the cop not to hurt my dog.
My Booch is on "special treat" status with UPS and Fedex who love him to death and all USPS but one weirdo the others warned us about who hates all dogs( great job pick?) In short his rep is solid gold with all who live and work in my hood. That the local law does not know that and he would get a cap first thing if they came here looking for my crappy neighbor by mistake is such an outrage and real concern for us despite a fixed income and still recovering from major surgery we are trying to move. That and I am so sick of the jack asses with little raptor doglets barking and seething at the leash giving me and my big ole dog dirty looks as we walk the park.
For the record I did not even look at the link as I am in an OK mood and want to stay that way. Watched enough before to know how this crap plays out and it all just makes me farkin' sick.

There was a story in the news a while back where a man in Ohio was arrested for "barking back" at a police dog... I guess raising your voice at one dog and shooting another for no good reason is the difference between us and them. Can't even so much as 'bark' at a police dog but it's ok for the police to shoot your dog... I just don't get it, well no actually I do get it, but it's pretty damned sickening.
