'My People' by Yusuf Islam - A song for all

It is always a good thing to just sit back, relax, and
listen to inspirational music by an amazing musician.
Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens) is a great
philanthropist and a man who cannot help but humble
you. His lyrics show that we are all people regardless
of our ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ideology and
that we all deserve the basic human rights of dignity,
food, clothing, freedom from oppression, and respect.
Give us that and we will demonstrate for you what we
as humans can do.

No more tyranny let all people live in freedom, let all
people have the right to self-determination both
individually and nationally, let all people be respected,
and let all people be free. There is nothing more basic
than freedom, just let me be in peace, yet it seems to
be the hardest thing for us to get and to keep.

Say no tyranny everywhere from the United States to
France, from Russia to Brazil, from Cuba to
South Africa, from Australia to Egypt, from Turkey to
China we must all end the tyranny in any form it may
come.

His words are so true and his story of how he came to Islam is truly beautiful , thank you so much for this thread and ill contribute another wonderfull song by him
