Just so you know these are just little pocket guides... they give these out to us because they know were gonna forget stuff and when we do just reach into your jacket pocket and look it up...

Thanks! Just downloaded the ones relevant to my interests.

The concealment tips in the counter sniper tactical memoirs are also very useful for hunting coyote and deer believe it or not...

For coyote I always used a rabbit call to great success... but when hunting Mountain Lions... sometimes your never sure who is hunting whom... know what I mean...

Edit to add... in the counter sniper Memoirs... they talk about the GSL system...
not likely you folks know about it but the GSL (Gun Shot Location) is a series of microphones set up in a grid..(Over miles).... those mic's are fed into a computer... So when a shot is detected this puter figures out what mic picked up the sound first... then using the other mic's tries to figure out the direction of the shot....Leading you to the shooter.... some big cities are using this system now.... there's your FYI for the day

I've been stalked by mountain lions while stalking coyote.

Thanks to God, my hunting buddies, and good camo that I wasn't lunch that day.

Concealment is very important because coyotes are VERY intelligent.

US Army UCP and Multicam work very well.


Rabbit calls only every get me dive bombed by owls.


I usually use scents and female coyote calls to get them to come to me.

I heard about the GSL system a couple of years ago when it was still in it's infancy.

They are fielding unit sized versions of that system today to locate where sniper bullets are coming from if I'm not mistaken.
