Chance hunted down the man who killed his predecessor, intending to kill him in turn, only to find the ring had a failsafe against lethal force. Further, the ring offered no protection against his opponent's yellow bullets. Thus Chance fell back on traditional methods and used a crude firearm to shoot the man dead. This became Jack's standard methodology as he went about pacifying Garnet, wearing down his targets with the powers of the ring then delivering a killing blow with a sidearm.

He's definately not your usual run of the mill superhero's.

Personal Disclosure: DeadPool comes a very close 2nd place and I also like Spiderman!

P.S. The Maxx was way way out there :O but not many people got into Image comics and superheros.

Lets face it, Superman isn't even in the same category as most others. He's basically a god, not a superhero. He's incredibly way too powerful for any force to reckon with, if he really applied such powers. (Don't know about you, but I'd put on a radiation suit, then round up every scrap of Kryptonite in the Universe, and throw it all into a black hole, if I were Superman).

As for the Lois weakness...simple. Just toss the first person trying to use her, into space, on a course with the sun... I think others will get the picture that it isn't such a great idea.

If Superman were real (and had the interests of the people at heart), he'd simply abolish the governments and be a benevolent dictator. No more wars, etc. There're really not many problems that couldn't be solved with some application of one of his powers.... He's just that insanely powerful.
