Isn't that what HAARP is for, weather manipulation? or modification? I believe they do this in areas that don't receive alot of rain. To me that is
a positive thing. But, as we all know technology is often used for reasons it wasn't intended for.
The extent and type of air pollution in China vary dramatically by geographic region. SO2 and particulate emissions are highest in the northern half of China, where coal is used to heat homes and other buildings for several months of the year and where industrial centers also depend heavily on coal burning. Yet, air pollution in the North would be much worse if not for the higher quality, cleaner coal that is available there. By contrast, the coal mined in the South is high in sulfur and extremely polluting, contributing to serious problems with acid precipitation, especially in the southwest provinces of Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Hunan [24][25].
168.03 Million -- That's the number of motor vehicles on China's roads. The figure cover automobiles, motorcycles, tractors, trailers and other motor vehicles.
By comparison, the US had 250,851,833 registered motor vehicles in 2006 according to a Department of Transportation study (in 1960: 74.4 million). 8.26 million -- In the past year, 8.26 million motor vehicles were added to China's road, a 5.17% increase. By comparison, between 2005 and 2006, the number of motor vehicles on US roads increased by 1.38%.
127.68 million -- That's the number of private motor vehicles in China, about 76% of total, but their increase is faster than non-private vehicles.
The chinese have a very bad problem with their air quality--air which is poisond and drifts all the way to america.

I've never encountered any.
Usually weather modifiction gets mixed up with chemtrails, and now geo-engineering...
Likely weather modification does have some effect on the wider climate but I wouldn't expect it to be much - I'd be interested in seeing studies.

Project Popeye (1966)
Project Popeye was an experiment in increased rainfall through cloud seeding jointly approved by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Defense. The technical aspects of the experiment were verified by Dr. Donald F. Hornig, Special Assistant to the President of the United States for Science and Technology. The government of Laos was not informed of the project, its methods or its goals.
Robert S. McNamara, U.S. Secretary of Defense, was aware that there might be objections raised by the international scientific community but said in a memo to the president that such objections had not in the past been a basis for prevention of military activities considered to be in the interests of U.S. national security.
In 2025, uninhabited aerospace vehicles (UAV) are routinely used for weather-modification operations.

Have a link to this info? So your saying their bad air is coming to our western shores, but what about Hawaii, Japan(who have their own environmental problems right now) are they showing the signs of dirty chinese air?
