We have an estimated time of 11:30-11:45pm before the storms
arrive. Enjoy the porch and watching the storms - stay safe.

Good luck to you as well. The elderly couple across the street just took off. They are doing the smart thing. I'd leave too but my husband has the car at work.

Its about to hit. Doesn't appear tornadic though.

We (Little Rock) are out of the bad part ( with tornadoes now ) and are getting into the part with the big ass hail and rain. They say this storm isn't rotating but it's coming in ahead of one that was already a major issue a couple counties away so we will see how it goes. Fortunately I haven't lost power here yet but there are a lot of people in Pulaski that have 42k at last count if I remember right, but as far as I can tell there has only been some tree damage and no deaths or bodily injury so far.

I think the worst of it has passed us. Still under a warning until 10:00 though and a watch until 2 am.

My mother is getting hit pretty heavy right now. Never thought I would like texting until I got it now I find it very useful. Weather alerts and contacting family and friends.

At one point we had nearly vertical rain, and the wind was blowing rather heard.

They keep moving the warning up though. First it was 9:15 then 9:30, 9:45, 10:00, now 10:30. It will be nice to see this storm disperse. I hate for people to get hurt or lose their life in such things.

Louisville,KY
Storms with wind speeds as high as 105 mph coming our way,
but predicted somewhere between 70-80 mph.
Should be here in an hour.

Wow. We just had to get under the concrete stairs outside. I thought for sure the tree was going to blow over on us. That was insane...

Whew glad you reported back. That looked like a strong one over your city.

Surprised you still have power!

I'm surprised my place is still upright. That wind was something else. Good luck to the Owensboro area... that storm is insane.

Always good to see safe reports from fellow members. I believe we are safe now. No more sounds of thunder or heavy rain or winds.

I think we are almost officially out of the warning as well. From the looks of the radar the worst has passed over head.

Be safe to those members east of the Missouri border. We sit right on the river here the storm is coming your way pretty fast (about 60-70 mph).

It's coming straight down I-64 with the bow of the storm aimed right at us.
We live in a stone house with a walk out basement, but we have alot of really big tress around us.
may have to wake up the family here soon to bring them down to the basement.

This storm has a lot of pink and purple areas in it, or at least it did.

Stay alert and safe if it is coming your way.
