A large tornado and a massive group of supercells just combined in east missouri, about to move over St Louis. The towns of Bowling Green and surrounding areas have already been hit by EF1 Tornados, .Nokomis is experiencing a large tornado moving through at this moment into montgomery county (6:50 CST).

This storm is about to go right over my head.

Just pointing this out for your benefit; this guy's got it right AGAIN. This makes at least the 15th time I've seen him call it and watched it happen.

BS it all you will, but I've seen it going on with my own eyes.

Hoping that all will be safe for you and everyone in the path of the storm--tornadoes have truly caused much heartbreak already this week.

Thanks for the links and please update your status when you can...

I've been keeping an eye on his youtube updates too, and he DOES seem to be onto something.

Spot-on accurate since I subscribed to his channel a couple of weeks ago...

Baseball sized hail, the storm did significant damage (trapped people, destroyed structures) to Missouri north of St Louis. It is currently weakening which is good for me.

Awful lot of tornadoes for it still being early in the season. I watched one touch down via live streaming video about an hour ago just S/SW of Springfield, IL. Scary stuff.

Good that I saw this as I am Indiana and this is happening not
to far away in Il. Will turn on my weather station. The tornados
so far this year have been very bad.

After those pictures I sure hope it weakens a bit there ........the size of that hail made the hair stand up on my arms and the back of my neck.
I can just imagine that with thunder and lots of wind.
Must have been quite the ride there, stay safe and keep us here at ATS informed if it is possible.
Thanks for the pics and links.

I am down in Little Rock and we are gearing up for this one on the heels of the last one ( we had a two tornadoes a block from my house) It has been hot and humid and super windy all day. We have a tornado watch out at the moment but I suspect that will be a warning a couple times over before the nights over.

To anyone in the path of these .. be safe

Just checked the radar - there is a long line of storms-
looks to be serious. It should be in my area within an
hour, anyone else had or expecting these storms yet?

I'm down in Kentucky. The weather guys have been hyping this one up all day long. They're saying the big tornado threat should be north of us, but that's what was said during the last storm front (the one that produced the huge tornado outbreak) and we ended up under a tornado warning at the very end of it (thankfully it didn't touch down).

We're supposed to be hit sometime over the next four hours. Hoping it won't be too bad.

Hello in Ky - my family is in central Ky so I stay of top
of the weather there as well. Not good to hear
its hitting your area at night. Take care!

I'm waiting for it to hit me too. I don't usually get nervous about storms, I love to watch them, but I'm getting nervous about this one. I'm in a mobile home, so I don't need baseball sized hail or a tornado.

Thank you. First Tornado warning just went off on the weather channel. I wonder how many I'll see tonight.
I'm going to go sit on the porch and watch the storm roll in.
