Very Strange Dream

This dream is just so wierd that I had to post it here and see what you people have to say about it...

Its strange...but just bear with it...

I started out on Voyager from Star Trek as a crew member. We docked at a space station that happened to be a casino. Me and my friends beamed down to the casino and were playing the slots. We're standing there pulling the slots and talking. Then out of the corner of my eye I see a girl that I hadnt seen for 4 years...since I lived in Alaska to move to DC...i just stare and point at her kinda dumbstruck that I would ever see anybody from Alaska again. She sees me and runs over and jumps on me and hugs me for a long time. She starts kissing me and when she kisses me on the lips a orangish light shined for a minute. We got up and she did this weird thing where her body glowed orange and she could pass her body through objects safely without harming herself. She told me that she gave me that power too. I tried to do it but all I could get was the glow...I wasnt able to go through objects yet. We stood there talking for a while then me and my friends had to leave and go back to the ship. We said our goodbyes and hugged. As we let go the orange light appeared again. On the ship I tried out my "powers" for a while. Getting better and better everytime. After a while of practising we get a evacuation order. Everybody is gone. Me and my 2 friends are the only people left on the upper deck. Neelix (strange...yes) comes up to us and tells us to get going and to leave because the Borg were attacking. Then for some reason my 2 friends said they were engaged (1 girl...1 guy)...that crushed me for some reason. Even though I didnt really like the chick. So we go to the escape pods, but we get transported to the Casino for the last time. I see the girl from Alaska standing around. I could tell she was waiting for me. I ask her how to master my powers and she tells me to clear my mind and just WANT it. I try it and I walk through her. I kept asking her what she was..some sort of alien creature or something. She kept saying she was Lindsey (the girl from alaska)...then kissed me on the lips and as the orange glow appeared she dissappeared. From there we were beamed to the Borg ship with the rest of the crew. I decided to put my powers to the final test and I went through the wall of the hold. I went to the power core of the Borg ship and brought the shields down. Then we got transported back to Voyager. At the very end of the dream was my friends Marriage...i remember being in the back of the room feeling really depressed. I go into the corridor and see Lindsey at the far end. I run to her and she dissappears. Then its over.

This dream was VERY vivid...the most Iv ever had one be before. Does anybody see any kinda significance or hidden meaning in here?? Or is it just a very strange regular dream that doesnt mean anything??

Sounds nice and vivid too.

About the whole Star Trek thing.. I dont know of any significance I can find in that. If you like it and watch it a lot, it was probably just a background for your subconscious to project into the dream.

What does orange mean to you? When you think of orange, what feelings do you get?
Thatll help me get a grasp for the orange light.

About the feeling sad at the friends engagement.. Perhaps you felt like you were the "only one alone" or something. Or maybe, you just liked having them as seperate friends and so you were worried they would become better friends with each other than they were with you.

Just an idea.

Yup. I watch alot of Star Trek. About the Orange...i drink alot of Orange Soda, Orange Juice, I eat alot of cheese, oranges, cheetos and doritoes....sooo...lotsa orange. Doesnt really mean much to me besides it tastes good. None of my friends in real life started going out with each other or anything remotely close to it. Thanks tho. Maybe somebody can find something more...

You have an untapped talent that has yet to be realized. A few familiar elements + your interest in ST helped create a pallatable story.

How did you get that I have an "untapped talent that has yet to be realized" out of that?? Im just starting to get into photography and cinematography. That could be an untapped talent. But it doesnt really have anything to do with the dream.

It's about reading the metaphors in the dream not the literal symbols. For example the color orange represents something you enjoy.
