What happened to the popup for messages in our ATS mail?

I think I saw a thread on this before but I can't find it again...

So what's the deal? It was nice to have the little green box pop up and notify when I got a new message from a member instead of having to check the mailbox every day.

Any way to enable it or was it permanently removed?

I just went to my messages and discovered
several I didn't know I had. I was depending
on the pop up.

On the bottom of your screen, you will see a ribbon with the New Messages button a bright yello/green when you have messages.

I only get that ribbon at the bottom when replying to a thread. How do I get it to show up permanently?

I prefer it now with the pop-up at the bottom of the screen. I always thought the other way was irritating.

There's a little "Show Ribbon" tab on the bottom right corner of the screen. Click it and the menu shows up.
