weapon business is the first economic sector in france
90% of french mass media belongs to weapon company (dassault, lagardere - the rest is bank & other corporations)
sarkozy was a lawyer for dassault, lagardere
so it's pretty simple what's going on: the state spend a lot of public money making war, most of which going directly to the weapon seller. in other
words it is a transfer of (lots of) money from the poor/middle class that pay their tax to the elite through war proxy.
you don't expect their owned media to tell the truth to their (owned) sheeple do you ?

When in doubt… blame the Americans.
Mr. Sarkozy you are not providing a free and open
press for your people, the clenched fist of your regime
is now being recognized by the people of France.
Hopefully this goon will be shown for what he is and
thrown out of office in 2012.
We all know that the Western media walks in-line with
their respective government but when you just block
any journalist who does not do what you want then it
has gone a bit too far. Well at least now the French
know what it is like to be the people they snubbed
their noses at for the past almost decade.
France is currently fighting in three wars. It was the first foreign state to intervene in Libya, the largest force in Côte d'Ivoire’s civil war and it has just sent more troops to Afghanistan. But the French media take a different angle.
Watching the French media gives you an unexpected perspective: the Americans are responsible for the rising civilian death toll, and there's no mention of the French contingency.
