Peanut butter cookies always rate right up there for me. And when I can make them myself or find a good brand those Chinese-style almond cookies are
always a favorite.
So there, I named a couple of my favorites that haven't already been mentioned, but when it comes right down to it it is hard to beat good homemade
oatmeal raisin cookies, especially with some pecans. In fact I can do without the raisins if some nuts are in it. I prefer mine to be on the hard side
so prefer to make them myself and can get that by using a higher proportion of white sugar to brown, however most people I know will prefer softer
cookies so they prefer more brown sugar in the mix which is probably healthier except that here in Mexico the sugar is less refined and has the raw,
slightly brown color in the white sugar. Less refined is better, no?
