As US government funding for the middle east wars climbs and Homeland security receives more funding, the defense industry is growing by leaps and
bounds. Spending is characterized as robust and continued future growth is projected.

Defense and aerospace companies, including Lockheed Martin Corp., posted higher quarterly results on Tuesday, citing growing demand for military
communications and networking equipment and for airplane gear.
"There's more buoyancy in defense funding than we'd expected," said JSA Research analyst Paul Nisbet. "It takes a long time for these funds to
get through the process, but they've jumped more than we thought they would."

Just lovely, the rest of the US economy is in the toilet and ordinary americans are suffering without jobs and healthcare while the military
industrial complex and the dick cheny's of the world reap massive blood profits. I feel safer already.
