I am unsure if anyone has posted this link up before, but I think it is important for us to know what potential releases from the Fukushima nuclear reactor site we expect to see in North America.

The radioactive chemicals we need to track include: Iodine (I), Cesium (Cs), Xenon (Xe).

Anyways, I thought it would be important for everyone to watch radiation forecasts on their own. Below is the link, feel free to navigate on the site and comment about any significant findings. Cheers.

I personally found these two images below disturbing:

Radioactive Xe

Yeah, I have been monitoring the radiation levels here in my area of southern California for about a month now.

It has been staying around 6 mRem/hr since the last post on my Thread

Damn, the northwest territories really took it up the behind there with the radioactive Xenon O_o

Is it only localized to the northern hemisphere?

you can change the settings on the site to see the effects around the world and which radioactive element is involved. I just happen to have it on north america.

I did some research on tincture of iodine, and that is a helpful comment/tip for all members on this site. Thanks!

SE New Mexico here. Well water, no rain for months. Have PI for family and pets even. Haven't used it yet.

Dairy products and cheeze produced locally, presumed safe. May give my PI to family members in Phoenix, but don't know yet.

The cesium map is incorrect, there is a youtube video of someone going on the website and finding an alternate updated one and it is much worse.

Link for the youtube video (i couldnt figure out how to embed it)
Its a lot longer than it needs to be and he does a lot of fear mongering but meh

Why does it say "potential release"?

Is it because we don't know the actual release levels?

What I figure is that it is a potential because it is based on future predictions of the amount and concentration of radiation leak, jetstream, and other factors that will cross across the globe.

I would presume that actual levels would be much worse than what is shown because there is real no evidence to support how much is actually deposited around the world.

I would take this radar map as a guide and make your own judgments as to how to interpret the findings.
