Earlier this month, Ghaleb Awali who is one of the senior members of Hizballah, was killed in an explosion outside his home in Beirut. Since Awali was not even mentioned by name inside of Hizballah, this attack shows that Israeli intelligence has infiltrated deep into the heart of Hizballah. Israeli intelligence reported that Syria and Iran were assisting Hizballah in acquiring advanced missiles with chemical warheads for striking deep inside of Israel.

Word reaching Israel�s intelligence sources is that Hizballah�s Iranian masters and Syrian backers are now looking forward to the next stage of their terrorist assault on the Jewish state, the use of non-conventional weapons.

Plans in the making in Tehran and Damascus envision a big future for the Hizballah in unconventional warfare. Military intelligence chief Maj.-Gen Aharon Zeevi reported to the weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem Sunday, July 25, that Syria is testing chemical warheads for Hizballah�s 115- and 215-kilometer range surface missiles, which are among the estimated 12,000 ranged along Lebanon�s southern border with Israel. The warheads are manufactured by Syria with financing from Iran. Fitting them on Hizballah�s missiles, which are guarded by Iranian Revolutionary Guards, would provide Iran with a menacing presence on the shores of the Mediterranean � and it would not stop there.

If you read the entire source article you will see that Israeli intelligence, who's reputation is well know as being one of the best in the world, has uncovered a chain of links that ties the Palestinian Authority, Hizballah, Hamas, Syria, Iran, and al Qaeda together.

Awali�s clandestine function exploded the myth that global Islamic terror and Palestinian terror are separate conflicts. Mughniyeh is the key link between Hizballah and Iran�s terror branch and al Qaeda�s leaders, maintaining regular, close ties with Osama bin Laden and Ayman Zuwahiri.

While it doesn't seem politically correct to tie Arab leaders together as terrorist, if these nations go unchecked the result will end up being a chemical/nuclear exchange between Israel and other Arab nations. Of course this would pull the US, UN, and EU deeper into the mess that already exist.

How is it possible to exit this situation? Israel is seen as the agressor by Arab states for obtaining lands with the blessing of the UN and declaring itself as a nation in 1948. Each time Israel is attacked it ends up with more land after the fighting is over. The US and Israel see the surrounding Arab nations as being the agressors. Iran is under close watch as it attempts to complete it's nuclear reacator, and develop a nuclear weapons program. It is certain that Israel will not allow this, and a confict seems unavoidable.

Now Iran and Syria appear to be passing chemical weapons into the hands of others to shunt the blame for terrorism away from themselves. This strategy is most likely in effect to avoid blame and international finger-pointing from the U.S. and U.N. This entire situation should completely come to surface withing the next two years as Iran grows closer to becoming a nuclear power.
