People ARE waking up. Protest outside of Columbia Mall in MD *pics and video*

After seeing a movie with my mom and my 2 younger brothers today (April 18, 2011) at the Columbia Mall in MD, when pulling out of the parking lot, we noticed protesters with signs that said things like "Tax the rich, not the poor." along with police. I managed to get a couple pictures, along with a video.

I've never seen anything like this (a protest). And Howard County, MD was rated as like the 5th richest county in the nation, so that says a lot right there if there are protests HERE, of all places. Goes to show that people are waking up.

It is a good sign...

But these little isolated incidences are not enough, it must be done en masse at every courthouse and/or capital building in the US.

Things will really start to change when the American people realize a common goal with one another. That is why we really never do or say anything, we are currently divided.

meh ... not enough. It will never be enough. The idea needs to spread like wildfire but those protestors have it all wrong. All damn wrong! Taxing the rich? Come on... that won't solve anything.

It needs to come to Va d@mn it!

I want to take part in this but i know i will look like an idiot trying by myself. Nobody around here seems to care that the world is falling apart.

I suppose you could start by convincing a few friends/family...it's worth a try and go from there. I've tried but my family just don't care about what I have to say. I get"I understand etc" from most people I talk to.

Why should the rich be taxed??? If you worked hard and made lots of money at your business/work/job enterprise and finally were 'rich' would you want to be taxed just because you worked hard? You are espousing socialism...take from those that work hard and give to those that either haven't had the chance to work hard or those that don't work hard. And, from someone who was once poor and now has something...I remember getting quite a few 'exemptions' when I made very little...and now...we pay through our noses for taxes...lemme tell ya...it's ridiculous. Going back to work....

So, because the world is falling apart we should tax those that have something? It makes no sense. It is not a solution.

You see, it's not really aimed at the successful entrepreneur. It is aimed at all the large corporations such as GE, KRAFT and The Banks. They pay minimal taxes, yet expect a leg up from the Government or a bail out in the Bank's case.

All this "lets tax the rich!" is obscuring the real thing that causing the problems its the people that control the government, its the people that control the banks, its the people controlling you!

All this kind of protest is doing is dividing the nation! People haven't 'woken' up until they understand what really is going on.

They always want to tax the rich. That's why my family never has the enough money to make the monthly payments. It's always a scramble to scrape up enough money to make that payment. We're are on the borderline of being considered rich, but never have any money. We used to live off credit cards but that's done with now. What more could be done by taxing the "rich"?

They keep letting muslims into the UK and then because their is so many they treat us all like terrorists on one hand and then act is if we are open to shiria law.

Devide and conquer between blacks, whites, left, right, employed, unemployed, old, young and anything else they can dream up and if it's not happening then they make it happen.

Trouble is all of us can see this happening now and our attension is turning towards the bankers, puppets and zionists so exspect to see left and right figthing togeather to remove this cancer because quite simply democracy is not working and no matter who you vote for you are still going to take it up the !!!

At heart i would class myself as a right wing capitalist and yet i'm here fighting the same scum bags as everyone else is up against and it's bankers or the people they have bribed because these people sure as hell ain't working for us.

Ill tell you why it isnt working....

All the evidence exists on conspiracy forums or youtube blogs.... the government does a good job of making people beleiev its on THEIR side... you need something big and hard that you can present to all the public... CONCRETE evidence, then maybe people will start listening and then you might start to see change.... just dont expect everyone to stand up and fight for what is mostly a conspiracy, it isnt going to happen... sorry.

Therein lies the key. The question is, what is it and where is it and how is it to be promoted so that people will actually listen?

Unfortunately it will have to come in the form of a shock and then and only then when people get slapped in the face with it is when it will happen. When something actually gets taken away will probably be the straw that ends up being the one breaks the camels back. Until then, no one will ever see past the diversions and distractions.
