Yeah, not now, but in the beginning the depth was a lot less ...

At first it was only at a depth of around 8.4 KM ...

Felt widely in the North Island of NZ... few of my friends felt it... here's the Geonet shaking map.. (you may need to zoom out)

No, that's just a usual aftershock.. the 6.4 wouldn't trigger anything in Japan

Tell me about it, we've had over 5,000 aftershocks since our 7.1 last Sept
Nowhere near as bad as the Japan one, but still not great for the nerves (great for weight loss tho!)
