So this weekend, I witnessed the most intense 'blood moon' I have ever personally seen. It was HUGE too! The moon was (well, appeared to be) bigger this night than it was during the Perigee/Supermoon event.
(I filmed these vids between 4 and 5 AM- I was out late celebrating my birthday! woot woot! LOL)

Anyone else see this?
I'm in northeast Texas.
Peace and love

Belated Happy Birthday ... The Moon looks lovely ... However, it's got blood on it's hands

The Moon was really big here in UK last night, however, it was only white ... But a very bright white, The whitest and Biggest I've seen in a long time ...

Yeah I am in odessa, looked just like that.Probably due to all the fires around..bad year for Texas as far as wildfires go.Not as bad as the fires in the panhandle a few years ago.

It was lower then usual, Did you notice it?
I can normally see it over the tree line out back.
So had to go on a journey to see it. Was so worth it!.

That's what I was wondering- well, not the fires specifically, but because of the large amount of dust in the air- we've had RIDICULOUS wind conditions the past few days!
I remember a few years ago, we had a MASSIVE dust storm roll through- SOOO freakin' weird! Everything was orange- looked like a scene from 28-Days Later and felt like I was in the Twilight Zone all day...
I'm gonna see if I can find some youtube vids on that lol

It was definately worth it! I was driving on the Motorway, so I had a very clear view of it!

Yes my eyes should be on the Road, but what's the use when most of the Motorways in UK have NO LIGHTS on them!

Off topic maybe, but all I can think of when I see "Moon" and "Blood" together is Moon Bloodgood because I am a huge fan. She is starring in the upcoming alien invasion series Falling Skies on TNT in June.

Hey that's the best moment about driving. Being the only one on the road and just being able to look up at night! The motor ways having no lights is a huge bonus for me.

no doubt,no rain and unbelievable wind...left the bathroom window open all day 1/2 inch dust..maybe it is the combination. My daughter lives in Kermit and with the fire south of there she said it was even redder than the picture. All I know for sure is it was a cool sight.
