Hi everyone, I did a search and could not find any information on this so I thought I would share. The Japan earthquake on March 11th was recorded by a hydrophone (underwater microphone) in the Aleutian islands, Alaska. I am not an expert on these matters but still found it kind of cool that it could be heard at such a far distance. I won't bore you anymore with my lame explanation. The video explains it much better than I ever could. It's only 2 minutes long too.

Enjoy.
