Iranian Minister of Industries and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian told Press TV on Saturday that the new car has been designed and manufactured by Iranian experts and complies with Euro IV and Euro V emission standards.

The Iranian minister noted that Dena meets the latest motor vehicle safety requirements and will replace the country's previous national car, Samand, by the end of the year.

According to Mehrabian, Dena is the most luxurious Iranian automobile.

This shows the Iranian advancement which some world powers are trying to stop. I'm not trying to turn this Iranian advancement into a political issue, but from what I have seen Iran has advanced and leaped forward against the Western pressure to isolate it.

It has designed and produced its own domestic technology which has reduced its dependence on foreign powers which is the main source of resentment against Iran.




Would you buy this car if you had the economic means to? I suspect some would make a mockery of it for those political reasons I'm talking about.
