My first topic. I'd like to mention my hero, Alexander of Macedonia, was a firm believer in ETs & even invented the first submarine (diving bell) to search for a UFO that flew into a river in India, 2,300 years ago (which he had 2-3 encounters with)--a fact not many are aware of. Some say he wanted to conquer Atlantis, which he heard about from Plato's writings...that's just like Alex, wanting to conquer even the Gods (with their planetary weapons of destruction) by using nothing but swords! That's why he's my hero.

ive seen these pictures before, i dont see how people can say ufos have never been here. They all show very clear images of such events

I think the images represent our creation in this world. Our ancestory so to speak.

That does not mean that these images represent the hysteria and mis/dis info that is sweeping the world today, this is nothing more than lies.

I hope people realise that.

Nice pics, this stuff keeps my occupied with thoughts of how it really was back then. Wish I could see something like that now.

I really love the classic Egyptian depiction......very clearly that they are airplane, helicopter, submarine,.......sh1t I like to see it being debunked.
There are three possibilities:
1) It's a HOAX.
2) It's an imaginative drawing of the ancient Egyptian. -not very likely-

The mainstream will continue to write these amazing archealogical findings off. Their explanations are so outrageous it's almost disrespectful. People that say we have no real evidence of extra-terrestrials visiting our planet obviously haven't seen all these ancient artifacts, paintings, and formations.

No, they just don't read the same things into them that you do. The very early images - who knows, who knows what they are showing? You see ET, fine, that is up to you but there is no way of confirming that. Those that came later, well, they are fairly much known to be religious analogies, but you've done your homework, right?

The picture with the helicopter and other aerial craft has always reminded me of an invasion fleet.

You have to remember that our interpretation of what we see on those images may not be the correct interpretation.

For example, if we see an image of a man with what looks like an airtight suit and a round helmet we may think "astronaut", but it may be a diving suit or a hazmat suit (or it may be something else).

Most of the paintings used as "evidence" for the existence of UFO sightings in the past (although not BC as in this thread's title) are just representations of other things, known things.

This image doesn't look like a real 8000 years old image, and the upper part doesn't look like it was made by the same person that made the lower part. I think it's a fake.

That image is presented as "evidence" of advanced technology in Ancient Egypt but it's just the result of writing two (or more) things over each other, those figures are a mix between the underlying images (that were filled with some material) and the ones that were written over them. When the filling material breaks, sometimes we see a mix of both images. Egyptians did that frequently, and we must remember that their language and writing are know, so some people can read what was there and what was written over it.

I love this topic. Here is the painting titled "The Baptism of Christ" painted in 1710 by Aert De Gelder. There is little doubt to me that this is anything other than what it seems. To have painted this IMO the artist must have seen something very much like it.It is not BC but adds to the evidence that ufo s have been here for a long time.

Just looking at the given link & explanation for the helicopter etc, Ok I can imagine that repairs can cause distorted pics! & archeologist always have an answer ready for the unexplainable or it gets hidden away in basement vaults never to see the day of light & I could see why this explaination has come up here, (after all it would be a bit difficult to ruin the whole wall) I could except that explaination if it was just a helicopter!! a very good & unmistakeable one I must say, but it's not, they are all there together! They may not have had them but they may have known about them in a further back antiquity. Who knows? I reserve my Judgement.

Regardless of how anyone wants to 'interpret' the above paintings (which look obvious to me) in the OP these are harder to find ambiguity in.

On Myth Busters they were scaled to larger size and showed highly advanced knowledge of aeronautics (21st century rivals) and even flew.

Aliens interacting with man's history is not a hard thing to believe if you put your arrogance on the side for a moment and think numbers e.g. the age of the universe & how there's estimated to be 2,000,000,000 "Earth-like" planets in our 1 galaxy alone (official 2011 estimate).

Just a note about the second picture above that is not coming from Australia, but from the Tassilli desert in Algeria, and more precisely from Jabbaren, South Hoggar.
It shows a 6 meters high creature and was created between 5000 and 1000BC.
