If I'm going to be a regular contributor here, well by golly I'm going to do it properly.

Here is the trailer to my three part feature on Comet Elenin, Nibiru, those mysterious "things" that appear to be hanging out around the Sun; you know, fun stuff like that. I'm going to use my experience and contacts as a professional journalist to cover topics that I find interesting on a semi-regular basis.

If you like what you see then make sure you tell the people that matter, and tell ME too; I ain't gettin' paid for this, so I'm gonna have to survive on the lurve I get from the ATS membership.

Editing the video has taken me a bit longer than I anticipated. I had originally though I'd have something complete to upload today (Saturday) but just to make sure that I have enough time to do a proper job, and to make sure that ya'll are aware of what's coming down the pike, I thought it would be best to just wait an extra day before releasing Part One: The Telescope. Anything worth doing is worth doing right my daddy always said.

So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I present the trailer for:

"The Truth Is Viral: The OldCorp Show."

Enjoy.

I'll upload the actual feature to ATS first, and then mirror it on Youtube in the future. Right now, I'm so tired I can hardly see straight.

I'm gonna hit the rack. Have a good night, and a pleasant tomorrow.

A question about comets

From what I understand
stars that are blue-shifted on the spectrum,
are moving towards us, and red-shifted ones are moving away.

This comes from the Doppler Effect
en.wikipedia.org...
and the terrestrial example is that of a moving train.
The sound of an approaching train is a higher pitch because
the waves are being compressed. There is a noticable drop in pitch
when it passes the observer and is moving away from them. Expanding the waves.

So the question is,
why don't we see a change in the color of comets when they pass.

Is it...
    A) too small to notice
    B) not moving fast enough
    C) no one has looked for it before
    D) or A and B above

What are the spectral absorption lines of Comet Elenin?

In trying to find this information
I have only been able to find the Comets' color
which is listed as

1.00, 0.80, 0.55

That comes out to this.

Which is interesting, but unconfirmed. I have also found info saying it's color is...

1.00, 1.00, 1.00
Which is just white.

But either way, this isn't a star we are talking about here, and if an object that small is emiting light I would like to know what it's chemical make up is. So where is the spectral absorption line analysis.

I'm looking for something like this.

Spectral Absorption lines (sample)

Good work! Gotta say, very professional. Trailer makes me want to see more, that's for sure. I've seen that guy before in an interview. Now doubt this is going to be worth watching.

Il be bitterly dissapointed if the world was to end tonight & we never got to see this

Just think, there could well be one person who reads this thread before lunch time, thinks to themselves 'I cant wait to see this', then later in the evening they get struck by a bus, heart attack or any otherway & unfortunatly leave this earth before getting the chance to see the truth. Think il lock myself in a room away from traffic & falling objects with nothing but water, fruit & 2 meals & use plastic cutlery, just incase.

Very much looking forward to it

The moment you decided to 'interview' UrsuAdams, you lost all hope of this little venture producing something credible.

Dr. Gegen is loved by the camera. His knowledge, particularly about the Sun, is impressive; combine that with a down-home delivery and you have the makings of another Michiu Kaku. Only I don't think he wants to be a "Rock Star" physicist. He seems very content running the observatory.

Why? I realize his views are "out there," but is that any reason to dismiss them out of hand? I promised an investigation into this issue and that means looking at BOTH sides of it. If you want to hear only one side of the story, then I suggest you continue to watch the MSM.

I call it as I see it. Not everyone will see things the same way. Politics and religion are one thing - actually they are two things - but science is different. It's either there or it isn't, provable by experimentation and observation or not. There's no room for bias in science.

Well, I'm going to get some coffee in me and get to work. I have a lot to do before uploading Part One tomorrow, but I'll pop my head in here throughout the day to see what's shakin.

I thought in order for ATS to gain the $ from all of the hits you will garner you are suppose to first embed it here and then share with Youtube not the other way around?

Anyway sounds good, keep on keeping on!

Nice. I'll be looking forward to this series.

It almost inspires me enough to do a series myself!
