yeah thats Iodine, some will try to say its pollen, TO OP: Since you live in Hawaii, you know whats normal and whats not normal. Here in WA, I cant seem to find any data for april at all, no data for the last 19 days????? Besides anything over 3 pCi/l for I-131 is considered above health standards, in other words, not healthy.

For there to be enough iodine in rain water to change its color, that would be enough to be instantly deadly on contact. The radiation is invisible and the color is pollen. Doesn't mean the water is 'safe', just where the yellow color is coming from

Iodine vapor produces the violet color of the smoke.



TINCTURE of iodine as the medicine is dark brown, but that isn't coming from the nuke plant

Ok, thanks Zorgon, I must have got some wrong info, sorry OP, but I just remember Iodine/distilled water being yellow too when I would clean my sons wound, so I assumed that what I had read from another source about iodine fallout being yellow/brown/ orange colors, I assumed it was true from what Ive seen on my son's wounds.
But thank you for the correction without a bashing, hope you're right (i'm sure you are)
