Then why dedicate the thread to an article you didn't even bother to read? This is from the reputable and respected website of the Cato Institute, a libertarian think-tank based out of DC. If you are going to try to discredit something, do it right.

If I have learnt anything from "dark" visions of the future, the idea of a microchip sounds like a really really good idea... (sarcasm) after all its okay for us to be tracked wherever we go (more sarcasm). But seriously, if the government were to implement this, how many people would accept it? Yes criminals, immigrants, and other mis-doers could be tracked with ease, but what would happen to human rights? (BIGGEST SARCASM). In one way its a good idea, as Im sick of the whole idea of human rights, but its also a stupid idea as it goes against freedom, the freedom to do whatever we like.
