Who is NOT making Survival Preparations...and WHY?

I don't believe we would be denying family members. Your bible quote is referring to salvation and people denying Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It has nothing to do with survival. One can share what they have, but many people live in different cities and states from family members. Condemnation comes from Satan. For one to play the guilt and condemn card is not wisdom from God. People love to take scripture out of context which destroys the true meaning of the Bible. On a good note, I haven't heard anyone mention anything about basic medical supplies. If one is going to survive, the slightest cut or infection can bring on death if not tended to. Bandages, antisecptics, aspirin, bug sprays, etc. I saw a feature on the History Channel and surmised at the end the most important things are water, medical supplies and food; in that order. People will head out of the cities to search for these things. Storage doesn't mean safety. There will also be looting, rioting, renegades with guns. No gas. No power. One can only do so much. The best thing is to get right and ready to meet your Maker; just in case. Fear of death is simply not knowing if you're going up or down. Know what I mean?

i for one am prepared for something , i do have a b.o.b and a cubby full of food but mostly because im an temp worker and if i get paid off then its no money or food for my family so i stocked up just in case.

as for ww3 , elenin etc. if it happens bobs there if not bobs there no harm done .

Better safe than sorry. For those that don't at least prepare something ahead of time, these are the ones I do feel sorry for.

i'm an eagle scout.. I can make fire from friction and a tower to sleep in with tree limbs and hemp/grass/root ropes.

food? easy, there are alllll sorts of traps the native americans used to catch birds, fish, and small animals.

I don't worry about preparing for that kind of stuff, simply because we aren't supposed to worry about it. The same God who supplied over 600,000 people with enough food and water every day for 40 years in the middle of a barren desert will have no problem supplying enough food and water for those who truly love Him when things get bad.

I believe survivalists are nutjobs, no similar to the Camping followers.
Theyre usually christian gun nuts with a paranoid streak in them.

Seeing quotes about religion just proves it.

Id rather live my life to the full than be worried about the world going to pot all the time.

That's the facts and it doesn' tmatter to me how I go out. All I know is that I'm going to die and no amount of Survival Preparations is going to stop that.I don't understand why some people don't want to die before a certain age or care how they go out.

Good...guess that means IF we come to a breakdown in society as we know it, and you are starving, and somehow end up on my doorstep begging for food and water, I can shut my door in your face with a clear conscience.

Meaning, what IF you don't die a quick painless death....will you off yourself? OR, depend on the kindness of those who did prepare for a "just in case" event.

Which is to say that all those that died from most natural destructions and other apocalypses did not love Him enough. Yeah right.

I have made preparations but not as much as I wish. I have yet to put together my friend's BOB. Shes aware (now) that the world is going down but she doesn't have much information about what to do besides our plans.

I should put together that BOB now.

I have not done anything..for me SHTF same as..

..driving a car everyday with sand bags on steel bumpers with shock absorbers, reinforced titanium hood and fence around my car because i'm afraid someone might crash into me on the road.

I ll try to survive if/when the events happens, if i die, i die. I don't want to live a world that's already wiped out and without resources to sustain the population.

If a nuclear missile is coming toward my city, i will run toward the centre of the explosion and die then to live a life with radiation poison and die a slow death..

Wow there has been so much to read here...I wonder where all the people who have bob's are going? I lived in the islands for years and one learns to sip(shelter in place) you know the area and the people.I would think if you show up somewhere you will be seen as a outsider and that in itself could be a problem.I am as prepared as time and money will allow for me and my clan.I obtained the foxfire books back in the 70's still good reading and it is always good to have maps of the local and state area,learned that after a few hurrricanes...seen some good ideas on here but guess it comes down to what you believe you need to do...

Yup, a lot of pages and good info here.

I always tell people that a little BOB wouldn't hurt to have around but not having at least a few basics could spell disaster.

i'm with you jude! i can't understand why anyone would not be making plans right now? with everything going on in the world right now, you would think that people would be gearing up to save themselves! guess they're waiting on the governments to take care of them.

I am not preparing. Firstly because I am on a Gang stalking list for life. 7 years has been enough for me and I have been praying for death for a while but don't want to cheat. So I would be happy if a disaster killed me. I would call it divine intervention.



Secondly I am from New Zealand- North Island and I don't think anything will happen here in any case.

Anyways, at this point, it is reasonable to think the US market and country itself may collapse, but from judging by the history books, there will not be 300 million starving or dead Americans like everyone here seems to perpetuate.


If i lived in the middle of new york , yeah i would have a bail out plan. but i live in the middle of canada and there is so much resources, food, supplies , farmers, all that stuff. I really believe me being a fit 26 year old male would be able to survive. If you are old , feeble, or unable to go anywhere, then maybe i could agree with having 3 months worth of food in stock, or 3 months worth of needed medications. But to plan for an Apocalypse is crazy.

yea , there are "so many resources" when the grid is working. turn off the lights, leave people alone in their homes all starving, unprepared like yourself, and see how everything turns out. im sure youll all sit quietly and wrap yourselves in neat blankets for orderly disposal right?
