Okay, technically Stars boost your "K", or Karma, rating. Makes you more respectable. (Makes you wonder why I'm not at a "1".)



Also, Stars effect to a lesser degree your "W", or WATS rating. Flags have a lot more to do with that.

GEE you are right! That lousy cookie, i mean star, made me like you more and compelled me to star and flag your thread!!!!! Genius, sheer genuis.

All I'm saying is, I would not give someone a star or a flag unless they earned it. Trolling and smiley faces is not earning a point. Seems very childish. Why give someone a star and make someone seem like there half way intelligent when there obviously not, because they need to cheat to gain it. It's like giving someone an A+ on a paper at school because they put a smiley face on the side of the paper and wrote "I hate people who kill Panda Bears." Everyone loves Panda Bears and smiley faces, so he deserves an A+ even though he got all the answers wrong and wrote a swear word in some of them. Know what I mean? It's pathetic.

You get a star just for the scrolling writing, i've never seen it on ATS and never knew you could do it.

Did anyone else know this???
