This is the second swarm in a week I have seen here. All in the 4.0-4.9 range. Seems pretty weird if you ask me. See below for more...

I know there is another thread from the other day on this, from then, but this is a new swarm now. There have been at least 3 4.0+ in the last hour or so there. I'm trying to find the other thread now.

Here's the thread from the other days swarm.

Been keeping a close eye on Puerto Rico, as well.

They've had a big swarm going on since FEMA left the area, and then today a 5.1 hit there. They've had a big swarm going on since then.

The NV earthquakes are close to the
San Andreas fault line - too close for
comfort. Going to search for a map
to show the distance unless someone
has one saved.

Looks like it's within around 150-200 miles or so tops from what I can tell. I'm not on my main computer atm so can't really make a good pic of if right now.

It's just a lot of quakes in a place I'm not familiar with having lots of quakes. My first thought when I got the notifications the other day was Area 51. But these really aren't that close to there. And the after shocks are still coming.

That is close in my book and warrants
close observation.. I found a map of
the San Andreas faul but I wanted it to show the
Nevada locations in respect to it.
Still looking.

I swear, this is getting to be scary....maybe it just seems this way because we have access to instant info, but it seems like there is just way too many quakes...I just watched a video from Japan which showed the sidewalks literally rolling and building moving up and down, with the sound of water! As if it were floating!

Yeah..I uploaded one, but without my software I usually use to shrink them, and it was huge so I didn't post it. I'm still looking too. But yeah. That's close enough for me too. There's an offshoot fault from the San Andreas that runs right through this area.

Here is a link to a map of the basic area. :

Yes I remember that now and the maps I looked
at didn't show it. Any idea what the distance
might be from the tip of the offshoot fault to
the area getting the quakes?

Hmm, I do wonder, is Nevada not the site of historical atomic bombs being tested ?

Could recent tremors be more practicing?

Cluster atomic bombs?

Nonsense maybe, but plausible to some degree.

what scares me is the amount of quakes that are very shallow

Personally... I am becoming extremely concerned

I know that doesn't add much to this thread... my apologies.
I think I'm just at a loss for words... I just don't get a good feeling from this !!
