I am a huge fan of the first two Bioshock games. I don't know they resinate with me in a way no other games have for a while.
Recently I heard Bioshock 3 was coming out and they changed the entire script, no longer are we in an underwater city but a city in the sky.
What do you think good or bad idea?

Here is the full trailer for it:

I think it's a good idea that they changed the scenery instead of playing out Rapture. I am a HUGE fan of the first two as well. I actually have a full-size Big Daddy and Little Sister in my living room. I think if they made the third in Rapture, it may have killed the franchise.

I thought they dropped the whole movie idea?

If they do it they better had do it right, keep it dark and not cut corners like in other adapted video game movies!

That's not the trailer, that's 10 minutes of gameplay.

This is the trailer:

In Infinite you will play as a former Pinkerton agent named Booker DeWitt, hired to rescue a woman named Elizabeth from the city of Columbia.

im still not fond by the fact that they made it a complete different setting. this one will lack the feeling of actually being in rapture. get me?

It will lack the feeling of being in Rapture because you're not in Rapture. You're in Columbia.

A third game set in Rapture would have killed the franchise. Bioshock 2 already pushed my suspension of disbelief to the limits, a third just wouldn't make sense.

This is looking good. I wonder what engine they're using?

Unreal Engine 3.

They had to create it specially for the game.

It looks way better than the old retired graphics from bioshock 2. I think bioshock 1 looked better than 2 part three should be awesome.

I think part 1 had a better look and mood to it, but part 2 had more detail and better graphics.
If they could have merged the two together it would have been perfect!
Part 2 didn't have the darkness the first one had either.

This new one should be interesting and gives way to a whole new realm in Bioshock evolution.
What next city in Antartica? Future moon/mars city? The options are now limitless. . .
