Its a made up coin that only works in their games. its not like you can take them and buy gas or something with them...i have a bucke of these coins in my house from times of going there. What, are they going to start busting everyoes door down that posses them. What a f#%king joke the FBI is when this what theyre wasting their time on

It's a joke. Your money is safe.

Read the article. It's actually pretty funny.

After many posters come out and say that this article is a parody many people still believe it is true

Please people, it may help to read all of the posts of a thread before jumping in. Just my .02

This was an entertaining article though. It kind of gives you a sense of where the U.S. government is headed.

but isn't the fact that some of us actually find it believable kind of concerning?? I mean, I for one, seem to find myself thinking that the gov't would go beyond the line of reason, if it gave them a little more money to waste.....so, ya, let's barge into chuck e cheese, or better yet, some of the casinos may still use gold or silver tokens, let's take them on!!!

we need money!!!

it's more concerning people choose to sound off on topics without reading the sources.

Yes, I saw it and thought "no way...this is insane" not because I thought the Government wouldn't do this, but because the coin system they have at Chuck E. Cheese is you give them a dollar, they give you a "dollars worth" of tokens. They could just as easily give you quarters but THEY don't get guaranteed money. It's a light scam. I've never walked out of a Chuck E. Cheese without a dollars worth or so of tokens in my pocket. Those add up.
In a case like this, the government would know better than to take this on.

Edit: A different question...Am I surprised some here took this at face value? Not at all. So many here are jumping to go after the government they fail to use their brains.
