Something BIG a very bad is coming, I am convinced more and more each day that passes. Speechless

Hrm lets hope another Earthquake of 8.0 or magnitude and higher does not happen again i think Japan will be devastated if they have another tsunami in such a short time span!

Our hearts and minds are with the people of Japan. We need to lend aid to them in their time of need things seem to be getting worse its possible maybe the 9.0 earthquake was just the beginning?

There could be a larger Earthquake who knows with all these 6.0-7.5 magnitudes quakes happening!

The past hour or so I've heard rumors of this quake. I really hope that it's just a mistake but with everything that's going on over there I wouldn't be surprised at all. Keep our Brothers and Sisters in Japan in your hearts.

Interesting, so if this is indeed an intentional media blackout, could it be possible media outlets are now assuming the public is aware of these earthquakes becoming more common?

Maybe the media is trying not to sensationalize these stories at the expense of the already battered Japanese people.

The media is usually all about shock to get attention, but even gossip addicts have to draw the line somewhere.

I hope so too.

Probably one of the many "doom kiddies" that frequent this site. They seem to want this stuff so bad because they think that it won't affect them in the long run.

I haven't a clue about these things but I do know they don't record them all because in NZ I've felt them and checked the seismograph out and there's been nothing there. I'm sure there's good reason for this but I wouldn't trust them to organise a P..s Up In the Brewery.

It's a bit strange. According to USGS there was a 5.4 quake at 01:08 UTC and at the same time the Japanese Quake Report clearly lists a magnitude 8.2
I guess the Japanese page lists the first calculation and the USGS already verified it and recalculated it to 5. If it really was an 8 the media would love to tell us about all the thinks happening there. I don't see any reason why the should hide it. The media ppl love desasters
