UN Soon to Abolish Organized Religion

The reason I am posting this thread is because there seems to be a lot of fear concerning Catholicism, Zionism, and the Muslim community. Indeed, the actions of these organizations have recently sparked events that may eventually lead to a world war. However, there is no need to fear that any one of these organizations would dominant over the other. I'm going to make an attempt here to explain what's happening right now and what will eventually happen to these organizations.

“And after these things I saw another angle come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying Babylon the Great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” Revelations 18:1,2 ; King James Version

According to the book of Revelations, Babylon the Great is destroyed by the kings of the Earth before Armageddon happens. It is important to recognize who is Babylon the Great and how she is playing a major part in the unrest we are seeing in the Middle East as well as ascertain what happened at the World Trade Center.

QUICK NOTE ABOUT NUMEROLOGY
Don't be surprised when you see reoccurring dates that contain the number 11 or other fancy numerology. No single organization on Earth is demonstrating acts of destruction on specific dates. Don't give organizations such as the Illuminati that much credit! Rather, consider what it says at 1 John 5:19, “We are certain that we come from God and that the rest of the world is under the power of the devil.”

Those who practice divination, astrology, and other such practices are receiving instructions from the demons. “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times [Astrologer], or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.[Someone who consults the dead]” Deuteronomy 18:10,11 ; King James Version

It is significant that astrology originated in the ancient city of Babylon which is the topic of this prophecy. “The zodiac was a Babylonian invention of great antiquity; and eclipses of the sun and moon could be foretold. There are dozens of cuneiform records of original Mesopotamian eclipse observations.” LINK

It is important to understand the nature and outcome of the service to the god of this world, the beast. In order to have riches and power, the nations have to understand the prophecies and fulfill them. Their only insight stems from their knowledge of the occult. The instructions they receive bring about their success which is only temporary at best.

WHO IS BABYLON THE GREAT?
First off, I'll mainly be using the Contemporary English Version of the Bible because it is a half decent translation that will be understood by most the readers here. When dealing with the topic of prophecy, it is best to consider a less esoteric translation – or compare multiple translations.

All Christian religions have a common thread when explaining who Babylon the Great is, the whore who is seated on the scarlet colored wild beast in the book of Revelations. They all believe that Babylon the Great is a religious organization. This coincides with what Babylon originally stood for in the Hebrew text. The book of Genesis remarks that Nimrod built the city of Babylon in opposition to God. Babylon has always been a symbol of Paganism.

Let's look at some of the atrocities that this harlot, Babylon the Great is responsible for and why the kings of the Earth would destroy her. “and the angle said: Why are you so amazed? I will explain the mystery about this woman and about the beast she is sitting on, with its seven heads and ten horns.” Revelations 17:7 ; CEV

BABLYON HAS BEEN POLITICALLY ACTIVE
“Every king on earth has slept with her, and her shameless ways are like wine that has made everyone on earth drunk.” Revelations 17:2 ; CEV
FACT: Nearly every religious organization in the world today is affiliated politically and flies the flag bearing the colors of their country. Many organizations pray to the same god for the success of their troops. For example, it is documented that Hitler had support from the Vatican, who in the 1940's had deemed the Mossad as the mortal enemy.

BABYLON HAS BEEN MORALLY DEPRAVED
“On her forehead a mysterious name was written: I AM THE GREAT CITY OF BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF EVERY IMMORAL AND FILTHY THING ON EARTH.” Revelations 17:5 ; CEV
FACT: Without pointing fingers, several religious organizations have been involved in child and organ trafficking, mass child molestation, abortions, the drug trade, prostitution, and all manners of organized crime. All the while their religious leaders hypocritically teach a different dogma to their parishioners.

BABYLON IS REPONSIBLE FOR BLOODSHED AND WAR
“I could tell that the woman was drunk on the blood of God's people who had given their lives for Jesus. This surprising sight amazed me” Revelations 17:6 ; CEV
FACT: Crusades, the Inquisition, WW1, WW2, and now WW3. Whether it was Muslims or the Mossad – or both, religion was responsible for the World Trade Center tragedy.

BABYLON CONTROLS THE PEOPLE
“The oceans that you saw the prostitute sitting on are crowds of people from all races and languages.” Revelations 17:15
FACT: Who do governments go to when they want to brainwash the people or to insight war or rebellion?

KINGS OF THE EARTH ARE UNITED
“You also saw a beast that used to be and no longer is. That beast is one of the seven kings who will return as the eighth king, but only to be destroyed. Then ten horns that you saw are ten more kings, who have not yet come into power, and they will rule with the beast only a short time.” Revelation 17:11,12 ; CEV
FACT: The League of Nations which “no longer is”, now parades under the flag of the UN. This is the first time in history of the Earth where all of the major kings are coming together in one thought and mind both in political and financial reforms.

THE UN COMPLETELY DESTROYES BABYLON
“The ten horns and the beast will start hating the shameless woman. They will strip off her clothes and leave her naked. Then they will eat her flesh and throw the rest of her body into a fire.” Revelations 17:16 ; CEV
PROPHECY: The financial meltdown, along with cry for “peace and security” will be revitalized by the destruction and looting of all religious organizations, thereby ending or averting WW3.

THE UN GIVES ITS POWER TO THE BEAST
“God is the one who made these kings all think alike and decide to give their power to the beast. And they will do this until what God has said comes true.” Revelations 17:17 ; CEV
PROPHECY: The UN will be coerced into thinking the destruction of religion is profitable. In effect they hand over their power to the opposer of God, and openly carry the mark of the beast. Therefore, their own destruction is immanent in Armageddon.

THE UN IS SHOCKED OVER THE LOSS
“Every King on earth who slept with her and shared in her luxury will mourn. They will weep, when they see the smoke from that fire. Her sufferings will frighten them, and they will stand at a distance and say, “Pity that great and powerful city! Pity Babylon! In a single hour her judgment has come.” Revelations 18:9,10 ; CEV

THE BANKS WILL MOURN HER
“Every merchant on earth will mourn, because there is no one to buy their goods. There won't be anyone to buy their gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, sweet-smelling wood, fancy carvings of ivory and wood, as well as things made of bronze, iron, and marble. No one will buy their cinnamon, spices, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, slaves, and other humans.” Revelations 18:12,13 ; CEV
PROPHECY: The destruction of religious organizations will backfire and rip apart what hope the UN had to restore the world economy.

RELIGION WILL NEVER RETURN

PROPHECY: Armageddon

Sorry - but "muslim" is NOT "an organization"

Just as when the British in India tried to wipe out Hinduism,

the chief Abbott who was in charge of the "conversion" process reported back to England saying that it was impossible because Hinduism was not a religion but their entire culture.

Same goes for Islam... its not a "attend church on Sunday, do as you please weekedays" type scenario.

Practically speaking, how could the UN do such a thing? First, the UN has no power. Secondly, what would be the mechanism to do such a thing? Do you think the Secretary General just makes a speech and says, You billion Muslims and you billion Catholics are no longer allowed to have your religion!"?

I seem to remember the Icelanders had no problem removing Catholicism in 1550. It was even easier to tell the bankers to take a hike. When the nations come together to make this decision, the process will be overnight.

Icelanders? We're talking the entire world here, hundreds of countries. I don't think because the Icelanders "did it" comes anywhere near explaining how this would be done "overnight." King Henry VIII tore down the monestaries, too, but it took him years and he didn't really succeed all that well.

Sorry, but this is a fanciful notion. And, BTW, I'm not a fan of religion, so I'm not coming at this from a "believer" standpoiint at all.

One can only dream that religion would be banned. Imagine how much better the world would be, people couldn't use it as an guise to commit horrific crimes.

Who needs religion for that? Communism, socialism, fascism, and a host of others work just fine for enslaving and killing people. Anytime you have people who believe they have the right answer and are willing to force its implementation you have the ingredients for the worst than any religion could manage.

I get your point, but according to end of the world conext who's to say those countries will even exist in the future. The Bible's blueprint for the end revolves around the nation of Israel ( the jews) , surrounding Muslim nations and eventually the west and east get dragged into the mess engulfing the world in chaos. After a war of that magnitude, started because of religious conflict, I can easily see the U.N stepping in and abolishing the practice of individual religion . Excuse being, simply so it doesn't happen again.

The UN is not a sovereign nation. It has no power in and of itself. It can pass all the resolutions it wants. It has no Army. It has no Navy. Other nations attempt to use the UN to justify its own actions (We got this here resolution, so now we're going to bomb your butts), but other than other nations using the UN, the UN cannot order anything done. It can't ban religion any more than it can ban communism. It doesn't have the legal right to do so and it certainly does not have the power to do so. If we had this 'big war' that is postulated one thing that would no longer exist would be the UN.

No, currently it has no power to any effect to tell any nation what to do let alone the people of the world to stop practicing there religion of choice. I agree with you a hundred percent. I am arguing the point in context to the end of the world scenario brought forth in the OP.The Bible speaks of the antichrist that will unite the people of the world under a one world govt, also associated with the New World Order. Currently many believers and skeptiks alike agree that the U.N is a platform for the ushering in of such a Govt.

What happens to freedom of thought? Freedom of religion?
To ban religion is to ban the human spirit, an impossibility!

Tell that to 8 million Jews and 20 million Russians and who knows how many Chinese who died under Fascism and Communism. They didn't give their permission, so they were eliminated by "people who believe they have the right answer."

Don't get me wrong Schuyler. I'm not proposing the scenario of this thread as the best solution. This is what will happen regardless.

Reread the quotes about Babylon while keeping in mind that Babylon is America.
Babylon the land of many languages, the deceiver of other nations, the place where every evil deed has been done.
America is Babylon.
Babylon, or should I say America, will fall. Who will buy the goods of the other nations when this whore is gone?

"Babylon", in Revelation, is actively involved in the persecution of Christians, helping to put them to death- "drunk with the blood of the saints".
If America is not actively putting Christians to death because they are Christians, then America is not yet Babylon.

I would like some more input by well read 'biblical scholars' on astrology and other esoteric practices.

I read a few sites and most of them portray astrology in a negative light and I can't help thinking it's wrong.

The bible to me is corrupt, since the days of The First Council of Nicaea, this is quite a problem, it's hard knowing what to really believe concerning Christianity.

I'm not a christian and I would never denigrate myself by labelling myself with a term synonymous with a foul religion that conquered and destroyed my ancestors cultures.
I do however have the utmost respect for Jesus.

So, here I am.. reluctant to take the word and advice of your typical christian due to my perception that most of them don't even take the word of Jesus himself seriously while simulatenously exhibiting various bigotted and xenophobic behaviours.

I believe in the reality of astrology and tarot. The coincidences in just my life alone are staggering and mind-blowing, it's a constant witness of the meaning and significance of astrology and I can't for the life of me see what could possibly be wrong with it.
It is not divination, it's a door into the unconscious, it's a living, breathing practice that will illuminate you to your own vices and virtues.. it will help you along the way, transform the unconscious shadow into conscious knowledge, wisdom and understanding of yourself, and others. So what could possibly be wrong with that?

So why is the bible 'attacking' astrology? Was it added after The First Council of Nicaea to corrupt the doctrine?

Feel free to give me answers, but know that I'm mainly looking for educated answers from people knowledgeable about the bible, preferably christian mystics or christians with knowledge of the esoteric(preferably astrology & tarot).
I just don't trust the exoteric interpretations and perspective.. and it's putting me in a bind because I still respect the bible.

There is no real Babylon. As there are no real Christians . . . these are all myths.
They are archetypes. . . . Templates of possibilities and aspects of our fallen nature that solidify in recurrent negative actions, or as they say—cosmic habits. No one country can embody what the entire symbol Babylon implies as no on entity can embody all of what evil is or the devil or even God for that matter.

First off, thank you for actually reading the thread.

Your question deserves a bit of time and research to pull up a worthy answer. In the time being, I can only offer a few words of advice from a former Tarot reader. Anyone who has ever seasoned a deck of cards and has intimate knowledge with their language understands their power. It is absolutely undeniable that their is an intelligent entity who talks through those cards and who understands completely every question you pose.

As an exercise, try breaking away from those cards for a couple of months. You'll soon encounter the wrath of the demons that possess them and they will make your life hell until you pick them back up and follow their will.

Here's one solid fact to consider. Research the origins of the Tarot and Astrology. Each entity is based on the veneration of a god. The very first of the ten commandments simply reads, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3 ; King James Version

It is the beast who is speaking through those cards. And it is the beast who is leading the nations through the leaders' practice of the occult. "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." If the demons are misleading the nations, God is protecting you by his admonition in Deuteronomy which you have quoted.
