Tell Lucy that my Hiedi says hi and sends her love
Here she is chewing a stick (one of her favorite hobbies)

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/6bd4b41136e5.jpg[/atsimg]

and one of these days I want a black leopard
Yeah right....but if I could I would. I have to settle for a pic, so here is my dream pet if I could have one
I think they are the most beautiful creatures on Earth.

I'll be checking to see how Lucy is....are you in a different time zone? I'm in U.S. central time....you said you were going to bed so I was wondering if you are in the U.S. or not....of course you know I will continue my prayers....she belongs to all of us now
She;s our Lil Lucy!!

Lucy's still with us. Lethargic, but her eyes look a little better. Out of the Woods? I think so, but she's a long long recovery!

Will keep you posted.

hugs and peace to all

Thank you so much.

My hearts the thing on the edge right now... Its' so hard when she doesn't respond, like she doesn't even know me, and when she shrinks from my touch because I have to give her more fluids. But I guess that's what love is all about - when you give it and don't get what you expect in return, like a puppy kiss or a tail wag in this case.

She's fighting still... Drank more water by herself... But the food thing... I guess I have to just let that slide for today - it seems her stomach needs a rest yes?

peace and thanks from us both

There you are! I was looking for this your post and finally found it - you changed your pic though I think maybe that's what fooled me - anyway - please thank your Mom for me and thank you too. Lucy is drinking a little but completely refusing food and is so lethargic her tail can't even wag...
Sad, but, she's alive - which is great! We just need to get her 'out of the woods' now!

peace and thanks again!

I know how hard it is when a dog becomes ill or worse, and all I can say is my heart goes out to you and Lucy.
Never give up hope, and there is hope I think as she has survived so long after the event.

I had NO idea it could be this hard. When she doesn't ven wag her lil tail it's just a killer for me... But you're right - never ever give up hope!

It is a terrible thing to see them so despondent but the upside is that when you do see a little acknowledgement you know they're still in there, happy as usual to see you.

Do you try giving her some of your energy? A gentle hand laid on the sore spot with some 'intent' behind it can be so soothing. I always imagine a healing golden light from my right palm and a gentle blue light from my left, separately at first, then mix the light. Afterwards, briskly rub the palms together to 'close off' the energy.

Other people (yourself included) may have slightly different methods, but that's the one that works for me.

I think she will tell you when she is ready to try a little food, probably best not to try and tempt her before she's ready.

Thank you for the lovely 'thank you'.

Well....water is the most important thing....you can go weeks without food and survive, but only 3 days without water....so keep up the fluids, that;s the most important thing....

Hey how´s she doing? You can be lucky if she´s not bleeding anywhere, because my dog bleed out of every hole it was cruel to see her suffer and she didn´t survived the way to the vet. Blood everywhere in my car, be lucky that it´s not that bad (of course its bad enough what happened to lucy)

How she´s doing now? Yesterday my dog ran into barbed wire wich was setup in the high grass at 30cm height. Some bas$tard had done it just for fun. theres no use in a fence that´s 30cm in the high grass were no animal is supposed to be held.

And regarding to my first post on page one, I didn´t wanted to be rude, just wanted to tell you that its serious and I didn´t knew the circumstances.

Greetings from hila to lucy, even if shes a little bit dizzy from the narcotics
[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/2bea06b97d85.jpg[/atsimg]
yes, she´s sleeping on the couch but it´s leather and if you want her to leave, just point away from it so its no problem, she´s a Malinoise a tested "Schutzhund", she loves to lick yoghurt cups clean and she even brings it to the garbage on herself

EDIT: And talk to her, even if she can´t understand you, it´s your voice that will make her feel a little better.

I am glad to hear Lucy is pulling through. She is definitely a fighter.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/0e5a1760c9b3.png[/atsimg]

My little dog (Papi) is sending his best regards.

Note: His tail looked horrible in this pic because at the time he had a bad infection because he is allergic to fleas.
It is all healed now though.
