Well it's possible I suppose.

I just think we need a little more evidence before outright blaming CME's.

Have any of those assosciating CME's with this earthquake seen yesterday's thread. Someone forecast today's 'quake, (at Mag 9) not a forecast actually, it was a warning on information recieved, that there would be an earthquake today in Japan. I'll look for the link.

www.youtube.com...

The link above is to Ben Fulford for 11th April. Also, once again the HAARP webpage is offline,

www.haarp.alaska.edu/

I have no Idea if any of this is supportable, or is significant, something to think about perhaps.

When the building are swaying and things are falling off shelves and the ground rumbles beneath your feet does it matter what it's called?

If they have a 9.5 now they will have to re-designate all those aftershocks to foreshocks. What difference does it really matter? Doesn't this all seem a bit silly to you?

Until the MSM propagandizes as such. There is a reason people are "news contributors"..because they deliver the message the news organization is seeking. If they said otherwise, they wouldn't be hired. So-called "experts" who bounce from news program to news program are tools of the MSM trade.

Yes it does seem silly. Thats why I asked. Maybe it keeps the people in the area a little more sane to call it an aftershock.

Yeah I agree with you. I am hearing people say "aftershock" = "not really an earthquake, nothing to see here, move along".

Well I did some quick research on whether or not Solar activity acutally does have any correlation with the effect of earths tremors being earthquakes and I found from multiple sources that there is.

Here are a few of them

I think in the case of Japan the term foreshock, aftershock and the main event are slightly irrelevant now. They have had, for many weeks now, a consistent series of reasonably high magnitude quakes on a daily basis.

I'm sure some scientist would still label these current quakes to the aftershocks of the original 9 quake but it doesnt seem so does it.

The last two two +7 quakes have been blips in the regular 4/5 pattern so I'd class them as new - not to mention that the location differs slightly..

Prayers to the Japanese, or Japan in general.

The next sign, as Fulford said, Fuji was going to be manipulated into erupting, i pray that he is wrong.

PS, i think since all these events continue to happen around the number 11, every 11 out of every month should become a Japan Remembrance Day, or at least March 11.

This is very sad.
The Japanese people are now completely shooken. Hopefully they will start clearing Japan for the time being and move somewhere else. Living close to those areas( even though they are being evacuated, its like living next to a first front over there) is becoming more dangerous and the diameter of danger may be increasing.
Russian was actually offering help and jobs in Russia for the Japanese victims. Hopefully they will accept the hand.

Hmmm.... just because we don't know what forces are at work, doesn't mean there aren't forces... it just means we don't understand the mechanics.

Phage did a good job at skewing numbers.... his charts show ANNUAL numbers and do not have any correlation of individual events. I started looking a while back and found some interesting data, so I'll regurgitate it here. I was only looking at what were considered "major" events by the USGS and seeing how they lined up with solar activity.

I'm not really liking the skeptics and their "everything's normal" attitude.

Japan is on the verge of being destroyed and they sit here like "it's normal".How low can you get?

And I don't know where these people come from but where I come from but a 7.1 is called an earth quake over here. Not no stupid after shock!

How can you sit here and say it's normal when Japan is being pummeled like that?

Here is a link to the USGS site explaining aftershocks. Basically the length of time after the main quake an aftershock can occur and the magnitudes of them depend on the strength of the main quake. In the case of a large quake they can occur years later.

CME alert from spaceweather :

AURORA WATCH: High latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras. NOAA forecasters estimate a 40% chance of geomagnetic activity during the next 48 hours, when a solar wind stream is expected to buffet Earth's magnetic field. A coronal mass ejection (movie) detected by NASA's STEREO probes on April 9th could also reach Earth and contribute to the display on April 11th.

These poor people are getting hit waaay too much !!!!!
Anyone still doubts the CME-Earthquake relation?

I found this link quite interesting.
allthingsnuclear.org...

The Union of Concerned Scientists. I'd never heard of them until today. Seems they've been pressuring for transparency on the part of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
"UCS has long been concerned that the NRC imposed constraints on the SOARCA program that would significantly skew its results to ensure an outcome suggesting the public has little to fear from severe nuclear plant accidents."

Good read if you are interested.

I find that CME correlated to earthquakes very interesting. And yes it seems to fit however what about the occurrence of earthquakes when there is no CME? So you would have CME then Earthquake following in the two day span, then what? Are there lots of similar earthquakes occurring without CME's? I don't entirely discount the effect of a CME on our magnetic field, I just think that there is more than one reason an earthquake occurs, this might definitely be one.
