Hello all.
Been lurkin' around here for a couple of years, finally decided to take the plunge.

Has anyone read about this:

"Telescopes join forces to observe unprecedented explosion"

Link:
www.astronomy.com...

I tried a search for it here, but came up empty.
Well, lookin' forward to more news.
Take care.

Indeed, indeed! It was about time you signed in!

Welcome, from a newbie, to ATS.

I didn't know about this project for telescopes. I'm off to read it, thanks!

ADDENDUM: I just finished reading the article... Even if the black hole is less massive than that of the Milky Way, it was probably one heck of a Sun!
That has to be a violent show for sure...
