Hey, As this is a place for sharing knowledge etc, I thought I would share this little gem with all you. I just came across this site, its like photoshop in your browser, I did a quick 2 min picture to show you what kind of stuff you could do on the site.

Its quite similar to Photoshop. I thought the people of ATS might want to try their hand at it. Especially those without access to photoshop or any high end programs like it. Basically those stuck with paint ;p

And yes it is COMPLETELY free to make a picture and to save it.
Also NO DOWNLOADS so it left me quite impressed.

Here is the site pixlr.com...

That one is ok but theres one called Aviary that has a whole suite of software like alternatives to photoshop, illustrator (for vector graphics), music creation software, and more.

Personally, I use the Adobe Master Suite on my Mac but Aviary is good for when I go somewhere else and get a call about a game element that needs to be edited ASAP.
Like at one of those computer station things or at a cafe.

that was made in less than two minutes, I could never get the hang of photoshop or gimp for that matter. not to mention it is really really fast as well.

Wow thanks for the link, mostly interested in the free loop maker, going to use this in conjunction with some other software to create some fresh music for my next show.

photoshop sucks, if you didnt know this then you deserve to use it.
theres dozens of free software that is far better than ps. i'll admit ps might be the best photo editor but 99% of users dont use it to anywhere near its potential. as for drawing and painting ps might be one of the worst.

Personally, I like photoshop....other than the fact it's a resource hog

Some recent photoshop items I've created:

jpgmag.com...
jpgmag.com...
jpgmag.com...
jpgmag.com...

Using gimp is like using a calculator to slice lettuce. Photoimpact just doesn't have the available resources as PS.

i used to use gimp, though i still think its actually very good, it was a real pain in the ass to use.
for basic photo manip i use paint.net.
for digi painting i use painttool SAI(frikken awesome) and sometimes pixia.

Here is a link to a thread I made a while back about a browser based image editor. Aviary

Someone already mentioned it though.
Anyway, nice find.

I still much prefer Photo Shop myself.
