Both are power mongers, two sides to the same coin. There is only one party and we the people are not invited except to pay for it.

This is pretty easy...

One worked for corporations under the guise of making the US more secure.

One works for corporations under the guise of helping the poor.

Both seek regime change but...

Bush was unilateral and Obama is a consensus builder. Both loosely interpret UN resolutions, but Bush attacked with the full force of the US Military in his goal of regime change, while Obama uses the commitment of other nations (NATO, Arab League) to do the same.

Oh, this is just a trick question. So what if they had different coc aine dealers? You can't say that actually makes them different people.

IMO, the negativity for Obama from Conservatives centers around his liberal doings, such as ramming his health care bill down our throats. The rest of it is more a hatred of the hypocrisy of the liberals who bashed Bush mercilessly while praising Obama for doing the same things.

One was catering to the uneducated and the other caters to the intellectuals. Outcome is the same; they just posture it differently. I think mandatory courses in western civilization history, ethics, economics, and a realistic word view should be required for people to vote.

seriously, Obama, like many candidates, found it easy to stand on the sidelines and boo. when he got his chance he realized that the terrorists really exist, Gitmo is a dandy solution to many problems, and congress really controls the budget.

One gets to play the race card, and doesn't have a past that's verifiable, other than that, pretty much twins. Not to hard to guess the Obama puppets will be here in 3,2 1.........

I find it odd that none of the brainwashed have come here to tell me exactly how THEIR side was Americas Saviour and the other was of course a Fascist/Commie out to enslave us.

There's very little difference. Excessive spending, Gitmo, neo-conservative foreign policy, continuing limitation of rights and freedoms. I'd say Obama is more veiled than Bush, seeing as so many continue to paint him as a socialist.

The only difference between the two is the party they belong to. That is one of the fundemental failures in our system. The Constitution was not set up for a two party system. It is actually every American's civic duty to run for office if they have the ability.

The biggest problem is that we Americans, which is honestly typical, have become lazy, fat, and happy with sitting around letting someone else do the job. We have forgotten that we the people for the people means they work for us not we the people for the government. Just like fast food becoming so popular because it means Mr and Mrs Smith don't have to take the time to cook dinner they can just go out. Most Americans are simply content with there lives. If they wanted something more they would fight for it.


America is truly becoming a Dystopian Society. Soon Big Brother will be telling you everything you can and can't do, and I like Dennis Leary once said will be holed up in my apt with a cigarette machine and a case of whiskey yelling you'll never take me alive.

I didn't know any of that. I want to say that's a huge deal but, off the top of my head, I don't think I quite grasp how rare that is. Like, are you and I 10th cousins or is it more rare than that?

no, a shared tenth cousin is not very rare. considering we all share common ancestors, it's quite, well, common.
