I've heard as many of the WTC phone calls from 9/11 as the interwebs has available on it. I have no desire to watch a heart twisting 90 minute documentary reminding me of how mortally upset I still am about the evil and the suffering from that day.

And that's just 1 day in America... some countries would call our 9/11 "a mild day" from their points of view. 1000s of them just hope they make it to see Thursday.

And I respect that. Just the action of posting information that others may need to see and hear for their own good is an act of courage. Can't have too much reality in an illusionary world IMO.

9-11 is the best wake up call for most people I've noticed.

kinda debunks that stupid no plane theory...

I lived nearby when the towers fell. I watched as the second one was hit, because someone called me right after the first, from my apartment building across the river. Right until that moment we all thought it was an accident.

To this day, I can't picture it. I finally went back and it's like a piece of the city was just evaporated and replaced. I can't make it map in my head to what was there. I spent so much time there. In the middle of so many crowds. Whose sleeve did I brush, whose voice did I hear, while I was walking through what would become their grave?

I have never listened to the calls, and I never will.

I'm glad people are, though. Someone should.

It's just not going to be me.

Although I did not have a chance to watch the film in the OP, I just stumbled across this thread and thought as September winds down it is still appropriate to value the lives lost during 911. I knew during the time a few people tried to make contact through cell phones, but this is worth watching to discover many more than I have ever known about. Should have been shown on 911.
