Uhhh...so I noticed another CME this evening, but I apparently missed the one that went off yesterday?

From this monitoring system, which is awesome, I see the one from 07/04/11 @ 14:00 GMT (You can put in the time stamp), expelling and hitting us on the 10th @ 15:39 GMT?

Solar CME monitoring system

The "Alert" on the website states this information:

Event Issue Date: 2011-04-07 14:39:33.0 GMT
CME Arrival Time: 2011-04-10 15:39:15.0 GMT
Arival Time Confidence Level: ± 6 hours
Disturbance Duration: 10 hours
Disturbance Duration Confidence Level: ± 8 hours
Magnetopause Standoff Distance: 5.9 Re

Given that this is correct, what effects should I be expecting?

You probably won't experience anything, at best some pixelation on your tv, maybe a little cell phone interuption, that should be about it. If you live up north you might see some aurora's.

CME's happen pretty regularly. Most folks don't even know about them. Being aware of CME's is pretty cool, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just giggle when you hear people say 'my phone has been dropping calls all day', cause if you try to tell them why they will think you are nuts.

Flares are related with low frequencies before and after they hit - the low frequencies are associated with earthquakes and health effects.

The seismic monitors are active now - be interesting to track pre- and post flare effects.

...anyone know if the HAARP monitors are back online?

Hey Ryan, a 7.1 earthquake just hit japan today, it a coincides with the arrival of the CME
....

I hope that's just a coincidence. It was initially registered as a 7.1 M but then revised to a 6.6 M on earthquake.usgs.gov... .

36 km (22 miles) W of Iwaki, Honshu, Japan
44 km (27 miles) SSE of Koriyama, Honshu, Japan
71 km (44 miles) N of Mito, Honshu, Japan
161 km (100 miles) NNE of TOKYO, Japan

Hmmm, was expecting some aurora but instead an EQ, just
...

My feel really sorry for the Japanese...

Now let's see if we get any more CME's in our direction, match them up with major earthquakes, and I think thats some sort of evidence of a correlation between the two!
