I would give you a decent reply to your statement above, but obviously you have no worthwhile knowledge of the settlement of Israel and the thousands they've killed and driven out of their homes and lands by their calling themselves the "chosen people."

I beg to differ with your assessment. The gun that shoots around corners is saving lives in our urban warfare in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I don't really think you understood my post. The billions of dollars that we've given to Israel over the years have enabled them to have state of the art military equipment. It's far more advanced than what the Palestinians have in their arsenal. So why in the hell should we continue to funnel billions of dollars to Israel when our economy here is taking a dive? The gun that shoots around corners was only one example of the technology the Israelis invented, which the U.S. put in our own arsenal. That technology is probably a drop in the bucket as compared to the other weapons they have in their arsenal. The point is, how long until you cut the cord? Do you continue to help a baby walk once they're stable on their feet? We're in the same situation with South Korea. Do you really think we still need to station our troops on their soil? After years of pumping South Korea with billions of dollars of military aid, do you really think they wouldn't be able to handle an advance by North Korea's military?

I completely agree with you and all US funding should have stopped long ago. Israel seems to be one of several puppet masters pulling the strings.
