Compass went wild just now in Los Angeles

After seeing these quakes happening around the world i started to look up some info on the web.
Always had my compass beside me on the desk to keep an eye on any movement.
On 3:57 pm for about 30 seconds north shifted about 10 to 13 degrees to the east.

To bad i didnt have my cam with me at the time so i could of taken a video of this.
Will post any new info and video if it occurs again.

As a resident of Los Angeles I'm wondering if you experience any cell phone problems? I've heard that in 180 minutes before the quake there's a reaction

Well didnt use my cell phone all day so i dont know.

I really dont like this as seeing we had 2 big quakes today as well ....one in Japan 7.1 and the other in Mexico 6.5.

It has long been known/suspected/thought (take you pick) that a nearby UFO can effect a compass. If it happens again, check for a strange object in the sky.
