How many days ago was it that obama (and biden) said "no U.S. boots on the ground"? Has it even been a whole week?

Now we have this news from a U.S. general familiar with the Libya operation:

The U.S. may consider sending troops into Libya with a possible international ground force that could aid the rebels, the former U.S. commander of the military mission said Thursday, describing the ongoing operation as a stalemate that is more likely to go on now that America has handed control to NATO.


Will this be another administration flip-flop?

Really? I never thought they would go this far in order to get a hold on the Oil, sorry, to protect the civilians.

Fair play, hopefully we will see gas prices come down once the supply from Libya is up and running again.

Plus, as Libya has been self sufficient and not endebted to the World Bank, hopefully we can ensure the new government changes that trend as soon as possible.

you tell em..that gets to be annoying doesnt it?...ok whatever theres another thread or something...let the mods handle it if they think your thread should be open or not...i think some people on here have mod envy but they need to stick to either posting on the topic and either adding or debating info provided or dont bother

Well if you had more exp on ATS, you would know that even as members we try minimize repeated threads. Soon as the green wears off, then you might understand~

i understand it already and i can see that u have only been a member for like 6 months longer than i have been even tho u have gotten a butt load of stars in that timeso i font think its the experiance...i just know from my experiance that the search thing is completre crap and sometimes no matter how much you look the other threads just cant seem to found...then it gets old when instead of posting more info or your own input people have to make a post pointing it out...wasnt trying to offend u and it wasnt directed completely towards u either. so i apologize if i was out of line
