KUWAIT police had found documents detailing an apparent plot to attack the head of Iraq's caretaker government during a planned visit here next week,
a security source said today.
"A plan to assassinate Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi was uncovered in documents seized ... and related to suspects," the source told AFP,
"According to the security source, the recent raids also uncovered plans to attack US-led coalition forces based in Iraq as they make their way in
and out through neighbouring Kuwait."
