Hello,
I finally found out how to post a photo, though i had to make the photo smaller from 4800pix to 1500pix.
I was not able to center the photos.
I hope you can see some details if needed.

I was hoping someone could help me identify these plants.
They grow in abundance here, all located at the same spot, near the coastline.
Anyone seen these before?

Much appreciation in advance

beautiful pics... if I may .. what country are you located int so we can try and track down the ID of your pics?

As for the size... I usually crop and resize my images in a photo editing program... set the width for 600 pixels wide ( that fits perfect in a post window..) save it as a different filename, so I still retain the larger image on my computer..

Upload the edited one to your media account

Ok thanks, i will post my next photos in 600pix.
Sorry i dont understand the part of changing filename, so you can retain the larger image?
If i change the pixels in my software , they will still have the same width and height of 600 pix when you download them?
Sorry fot my lack of understanding...

If you have a photo editing program, when you crop and resize your pictures to the 600 pixel width, choose the file save as option, it will bring up a box where you can give it a different name than the original picture..

If you just choose save, it will overwrite the original file.. I like to keep my original images.

Hopefully I am not confusing you

Yep, must be them. the leaves and flowers are just the same

But when i check chamomile on google, there are photos that look just the same

Your pics will clear this up

While searching for chamomile and daisy I stumbled upon a picture of the purple one i posted.
Digitalis purpurea, Common Foxglove, Purple Foxglove or Lady's Glove.
They seems to be poisoneous, can you confirm?
Thanks

Thanks for the foxglove,
I will stay away from them

good to know.

about the first plant, yellow flower, i must say they sting like hell(not like a nettle, but rather like needles)
maybe thats a clue.

I put up another cropped pic of the second plant, a bit closer, so you can see it better.
600pixels

I found out that the flowers are edible
I think i am going to make me one of this

I also find the last plant #5 its called Asphodelus albus
They are not edible but the 'tubers' seems to have medicinal uses.

I know that one. I grew a variety of it a few years back.
it's Mexican Hat (Ratibida)

6th one down is False Foxglove (here in Texas) and the 7th one is (I believe) Trailing Fuzzybean -- Fabiaceae family, Strophostyles helvola if I'm correct. The ones at Trinity River Audubon are a very very very amazing dark purple like the ones in the photo.

There's three of them that are very similar, all in Fabiaceae. Trailing fuzzybean has tendrils that grow on the vine (like little thin octopus tentacles) and sprouts ... well ... fuzzy beans after the flowers go away.

What a fun topic! I need to learn my plants!

Finally got the Chamomile pics edited... the first is showing the foliage, the 2nd the flower..

I couldn't find alot of these around so I am going to try and gather some seeds and plant them in a container.

Hmm...
so i guess the biggest difference is in the leaves, or what is the size of the flower?

These are 2 pics of the look alike, to tell the difference in flowers is difficult, so leaves will do it i think.
