Thank God... Thanks guys!! Needed a revamp on the search for some time now.

Now, if we can persuade you guys to enhance the search functions to eventually include key word search throughout the site (bod of text on posts). Would also be cool if there was a way to enhance the posting section where once a headline is entered, its checked against already posted topics.

SCHWEET! I always thought a chronological order would be cool, as well as any improvements in the search area. Now let's just hope more people actually use this little wonder!

Seriously, I am very happy to see this.

EDIT to add: Can we get it to sort by date...? Often I know the time frame roughly that I want to search but the returns come in in some order I have yet to discern the reasoning behind.

I like whats been added on the last update with the 'easy to find' last message you/i posted on any thread.... this has made it so much easier when replying to someone who has replied to you... even if you/i were away for 2 weeks....

As an idealist I like the sentiment expressed there, freedom of information & all that good stuff, but when you say search 'all' the material will that include the content in RATS? I mean sure some may say it equates to the amount of security peer block would offer a p2p user but nonetheless - what did you have planned for RATS?

I'm glad to see that at the moment that content isn't search-able, just curious as to what you had in store for the future.

I'm just speaking from experience here, but I doubt RATS content will be available in the search. As this will be used by non-members and members, we want to keep stuff in RATS, well..in RATS.

Same with the Alt Sub forum I would think as well.

Maybe I'm wrong though.
